I bought this inverter after loosing power during hurricane Irma. The set up was easy and it powers a refrigerator and 6000 BTU air conditioner with no difficulty at around 25%. Unfortunately, the pull cord has broken and i intend to call the service number to discuss the repair. Ill update my review after the call.

This started after the first pull, and so far works like a charm. I've used a Honda 2000 as well, and noise-wise, the two are very similar. I love the digital read out telling me run time, fuel power output, etc. This is a great generator at a super price.

Bought this to power-up my pop up camper this hunting season . Filled it with oil and gas , it was running on first gentle pull ! Wow ! Using it on and off around the house , to get the first tank of gas through it , but it isn't using much gas so it will be awhile before I'll know how long it will run on a tank . So Far so good !!!

Temporary Power during utility outage, camping, and for power tools when in remote locations. The unit fired up in a couple polls after removing from box filling with supplied oil checking spark plug air filtera and filling with fuel. Tested it with various electrical loads including multiple shop lights electric fan and a 1 hp air compressor. Has a nice display for fuel level power level voltage an estimated runtime all nice features. Verified the voltage and frequency with a true RMS fluke meter. Voltage reading was accurate within .5 V running at 121 to 122VAC and frequency was steady at 60.05 hz under varying load conditions conditions. Unit is quite quiet and had reasonable sound level at maximum load much better than older Open frame generator. Very nice and a good value compared to much more expensive Honda and Yamaha. Time will tell if it has the same sort of durability of those units.

Just used this once, but love it so far. This is a perfect fit for my pickup camper, fits in the cubby and is compact. Started on first try, and ran quiet and like a top. The only problem is it won't run my older 15,000 btu air conditioner like one of the reviews said.

I purchased this generator to run a sump pump and some lights when the power goes out. After shopping around, I don't think you can beat this unit for the price. It has more output than anything else in its class. The controls are very easy to understand and the manual is spot-on with details on maintaining this gem.

I was looking for an inverter generator that I could run a refrigerator and a few lights on when the power goes out at home. But, I didn't like the price tag of the Honda. I did my research and found that the Westinghouse iGen2500 was just what I needed and at a much reasonable price. So, I got online and bought one. I haven't had the chance to test it out on my house yet but I did run it in my shop with lights and small hand tools plugged in. I was very pleasantly surprised at how well it worked and especially how quiet it was. I can literally stand one foot away from it and have a normal conversation without raising my voice. I love this generator.

Received this unit in good order with everything I was suppose to get. I will be using it to power Our travel trailer when camping in a dry camp area with no other available power. Have not used it yet but with all the research I did, I feel confident that this generator will be great for our needs.

My wife is a librarian. When I say she did some research before we selected this model, she did some RESEARCH. I would suggest googling inverter break in process before running for the first time. The provided booklet does not go in to great depth about this process. Once properly broken in, unit has been running smoothly without issue. Negatives-panel, drain plu plstic, feel flimsy.

I bought the igen 2500 to use for dry camping in my rv. Got it out of the box and set it up in minutes. First time took 3 or 4 pulls to start, but starts 1st or 2nd pull afterwards. Runs the microwave in my rv with ease. Unit is very quiet---my daughter and I stood by the unit as it was running and had a normal conversation. Very impressed thus far.
