Easily starts RV A/C equipped with Micro Air EasyStart 364

I purchased this generator to run the A/C on desert camping trips. I installed a Micro Air EasyStart 364 onto an older Coleman Mach 3 unit. The A/C starts easily on the ECO setting, and runs the A/C at around 1/2 load on the generator. For testing, once the A/C was running, I was able to start the microwave and it worked without complaint. I did not test the voltage reading for accuracy, but it corresponded with the meter inside the trailer, and even under load, the voltage stayed about 120-122 volts. Although this unit does make a bit more noise under load, it is definitely nowhere near a 3600rpm generator. Inside, with the A/C on, the generator was barely perceptible. With the A/C off, the engine idled down and is rather quiet when not under load. I am very pleased with this generator.

The quality is surprisingly high like a Honda or Yamaha.

The output is great compared to the weaker 1600 watt generators. I drilled a small hole for the carb drain hose to exit the side panel and another to open the drain screw, without needing to open the cover every time you store it. I think the easily scratched plastic would be better if it was a high gloss finish like Motorcycle plastics.

Love it's power and portability

It is not so heavy cosidering it makes 2,200 continues watts but it is noisier than expected (but it is not loud). You can still have a conversation next to it without shouting. Also, gas consumption is really awesome. The use I'm giving it provides me with 12 hours of use per 1 gallon of fuel.

quiet and easy to use

I have tested my igen2500 a few times now and so far its done great. It is easy to start and is extremely quiet when running. It is the quietest generator I've ever been around. I also enjoy the LED data center. You can quickly and easily determine the status of the generator. So far, I'm very pleased with my purchase

iGen2500Camo - Wow!

Albeit early, I already have an impressive story on this product. Out of the box, it's incredible easy to set up... add oil and gas and your done. The directions tell you to initially gentle pull the start cord until you feel resistance. I pulled once, then twice and then on the gentle third pull the darn thing started... quite as a church mouse. Very impressive. Now time will tell on the product longevity..

Nice Generator!

This generator has gotten some fantastic reviews online, and has some really great features. The LED readout gives you some very useful information including the amount of time remaining and the fuel level. I liked this particular model (iGEN 2500) which has more output than most that are the same size. Price and quietness were also major benefits.

Close to Expectations

My primary purpose in purchasing a generator is to have a relatively quiet power source for my RV's air conditioner system. This generator was recommended by a company that produces a "soft start" product to enable small generators to start the AC compressor. The generator performs as expected. I am delighted to be able to run my AC! It is a bit louder than I anticipated, but nothing I can't live with.

First Portable Inverter Generator

Filled the engine up with supplied oil and pulled cord several time to get the oil moving around. Put about a half gallon in the tank. The unit started in 3 or 4 pulls. The engine died a couple of times but is running steady now. Plan to use the generator for my drone business and the house if the power were to go out for any length of time. I was concerned about how will the unit would run since my house is at 6000 feet+. Prior to buying, I called customer support they told me that the unit had been tested up to 4500 feet. The rep said that in early 2018 they were going to sell a high altitude kit. So I plan to buy that once they start selling them.

WORKED FLAWLESSLY - This thing is GOLD!

Power was cut for 2 days of maintenance... since I work from home I had one shot to get this right and Im glad I did. Never looked back. 1 15CF Refrigerator/Freezer 1 Chest Freezer 1 APC UPS 1500W powering 2 laptops, 1 docking station, 3 monitors, headset 2 Fans 1 Breville coffee maker At first I wasnt sure it was working.... nothing registered a load. Barely registered when the ref/Freezer kicked in but barely. Once the cappucino maker kicked in at 1800W it shot up to 50% load during the duration of the heating operation. After the cappuccino maker was done - it went back down to purring like a cat. If I had need for a second one I will buy the same one - but this one served nicely. Make sure to buy a Y cable or other converter with the proper gauge maybe 10/12
