Just received this unit several days ago. Opened it up today and was pleased with the overall construction and looks. Oiled up and gassed up and it fired up in two pulls of the cord. Nice and quiet and all features appear to be working as designed. Am looking forward to hooking it up to the camper.

I bought this to replace a small standard generator to use for extended outages we have experienced in the past. This inverter iGen2500 is so quiet compared to the standard generator and much more fuel efficient. I have done a few test runs with this iGen2500 using an extension cord to the refrigerator, freezer, house furnace and few lights and it works great.

I have not used it yet. Instructions are well written and easy to follow. Unit looks Nice and fairly simple to operate. Wish it had a 12v outlet for battery charging. Spark plug access cover could be a bit larger. I think it will be a good item to have for emergencies and dry camping

This generator is a great product! It started easily and ran flawlessly during the 9.5 days we were without power due to the hurricane. It powered our deep freezer, refrigerator, lighting throughout my home along with some comfort electronics such as the WiFi router ,microwave ,tv's and fans. We even used it to power our washing machine after other items were powered off. The output never surpassed 50% with the above items drawing power from it. My intention is to buy another and link them together for additional capacity. If you are in need of backup emergency power I highly recommend getting this IGen2500.

All the tools and oil and manuals were included and easy to read and follow the directions. will be doing the start up and break in later today. The only thing was the cover for the spark plug doesn't fully seat on the case, found some flashing in the slot and removed, and its better, but still not all the way.

We bought this generator after looking at more expensive models and decided this had everything we needed to run our freezer in case of an extended power outage. It is extremely well-built and seems like it is well designed and will last a long time, I hope we never need to use it. It has all of the features you would ever want in a generator including eco mode and low oil alert. It also has a fuel gauge and a lifetime hours gauge for your maintenance schedule. The price point on this is very attractive as it is about 1/3 of the price of similar models. We trust the Westinghouse name and it has a 3-year warranty

Purchased a few weeks ago for emergencies and to power small equipment. Thus far the unit has performed well at a good sound level. Unit is heavy but manageable; it starts with 2-3 attempts max. We may be adding an extra unit for increased capacity in the future.

I just bought this unit. Readout display is nice. Fuel level indicator is useful. Generator is quiet. This is good enough for emergencies. With loss of power I can charge any sensitive electronics because of the low total harmonic Distortion rating. Another reason for getting this generator was to power my fish aquarium so I don't loose any fish. Hopefully I don't need to use this generator but having power anytime you need it is priceless.

I recently purchased the iGen2500 following several long power outages in our area from storms. I was looking for something that was small, relatively quiet, and could power a few essentials like our large refrigerator/freezer, the internet (modem / router) and our computers / phones. I tested the generator for several hours and it easily handled all the loads and was very fuel efficient as well. I will now has some peace of mind when the next storm hits.

The first unit I bought would not start, even after I followed all of the manufacturers suggestions. The second unit started after about 10 pulls. A puddle of gas quicklky formed on my garage floor. I opened up the side and found the gas leaking from under the carb. The second unit will be repaired under warranty.
