Problems Started With First Use

I bought this about a month ago and experienced problems the first time it was used. I changed the oil as directed after break in period and under a small load, it burned through the oil within 8 hours. Clips holding the rear panel were broken as well. I'm trying to contact customer service at this point.

Clean Attractive Generator

I just rec'd the generator today (3-5-18), I ordered it on 2-27-18. Initial emails said delivery would be on 3-12-18 - so it arrived a week early (I'm impressed) I have not had the opportunity to start up yet and as I will be out of town for the next several days, I will start it up when I get back on Sunday 3-11-18. I look forward to using it, and if I am able to post a follow up review, I will.

2500 CAMO (Awesome)

What a solid generator. Setup was easy, started up on second pull and purrs like a kitten. Just broke it in with a tank of gas and added fresh oil, it's now on standby. (P.S) there out of the free generator cover your suppose to get after leaving a review, now you just get a power strip ( woo hoo). I need a cover man...

Runs the A/C in the RV!

I wanted a lightweight solution to run my RV AC, and after extensive generator research I decided to install a Micro Air 364 soft starter for my 15,000 BTU RV AC. I purchased the iGen2500 due to other reviews as well as a recommendation from Micro Air. I received the generator, filled the oil and gas and it fired right up after 2 pulls. I then decided to put it to the test with the RV AC system. Plugged the RV into the generator and the A?C fired right up. I ran it for an hour or so and the generator performed awesome. So, if you are looking for a small lightweight generator to run your 15k BTU AC, go get the soft starter 364 and the Westinghouse iGen2500.

A great generator from a great company

This review is for the Igen2500. First of all, let me say that I have been using this generator only for about a week, but I have been putting it through its paces every way I know how. I've been running it nonstop for hours and hours, I've been using the air conditioner on my RV, I've been cycling things on and off from no load to full load and just running the heck out of it as much as I can to make sure I got a good one. Besides that I have been pestering them relentlessly through email and conversations and they have been so nice every step of the way. Every question I have had for them regarding this generator and how it works and if certain things are normal they have responded to either by email or asking for my phone number and calling me right back and have just been wonderful. I have talked to customer service, I've talked to sales, I've talked to engineering and I have been pleased with everything. The generator runs like a charm, I don't know how Honda's run when it comes to generators but I have one of the nicest Honda mowers that they make. This runs every bit as well as my Honda lawnmower. It puts out enough power to turn on my air conditioner on my RV with nothing else and that's 13500 BTUs. If I pay attention to what's drawing power there's nothing in my camper I can't run with just this one generator, and as soon as I can I'm going to buy another so that I can parallel because I know I'll have plenty of power. If you're looking for a generator and customer support is important to you, then buy this generator. I have had questions about the voltage it puts out, about how hot the exhaust gets, about the lights on the display, and I have been told every step of the way exactly why it does everything it does and that if something goes wrong they will fix it or replace it and that they'll make it right. I just can't express enough how well they do customer service. I would give 20 Stars if I could.

Surprised about the quick start. One pull started right up.

Tested it out on my Refrigerator in the garage. Ran smooth & quiet in Eco. Mode for10min. No problems. Would definitely refer a friend to buy. I bought the 2500 might get another. 48 pounds is easy to handle and move around.Great product from Westinghouse keep up the good work.

Looks Nice! Runs Quiet!

This Inverter generator is a lot quieter than I was expecting. I had ran it for an hour to break it in so that I could change the oil. Only thing I recomment is changing the spark plug. You just cant trust the cheepo ones. Otherwise this thing is fantastic!

Light, quiet, and powerful!

Use to recharge battery for trailer, phone, cameras, computer, keeps truck batteries fully charged as it gets colder while up hunting. Gives me back up power for heat, lights, & entertainment for the kids. And when the propane runs out, don't have to run to town for a refill.

Excellent for Camping Trailer use

I have a small 30A travel trailer that can run just fine on 20A, as long as you don't turn it all on at once. This generator provides up to 18.3A (according to documentation) and worked perfectly to run 5000 BTU air conditioner and 2.7'cu fridge and lights, with only 25% load showing on the display. Unsure of exact dB level (claim is 53dB with no load) but very quiet. Simple operation and excellent documentation included (too rare these days).

Great liitle unit at a great price.

Having used a Honda for a while I can say this IGEN2500 is not that much louder and a lot more powerful. Unit started on first pull. Overall very happy with the build quality and purchase. Looking forward to using it in the Grand Tetons this summer. Btw the Honda was shared between two brothers so I decided to get myself my own and went with the Westinghouse iGEN2500. We all agree it's a nice and quite unit!
