I ordered this generator to use with our slide-in camper. After adding the oil and gas, it fired up quickly. I have tested it on our camper microwave and A/C individually and this little unit never missed a beat. It's going to be a great asset to have along with us in our travels!

I bought this generator to run lights on a parade float, it worked prefect! Ran quietly more than enough power and used little fuel. So happy we made this purchase , it'll be used for many events and what a great piece of mind to know we have it for a power outage.

I originally purchased this generator to run my working lights and heat lamps for a shed that didn't have electricity over the winter. This generator worked very well. It would work for long hours, and I could rely on it. The sound wasn't overwhelming, and I didn't have to worry about the neighbors complaining if I had to let it run overnight.

Works great on propane. Started on the third pull. Was surprised that user manual did not say anything about how to break-in the generator for first use. Ran the typical several-hour break-in, drained the oil, and it was black--as expected. First-time generator buyer needs this information. Would also be better if it had either wheels or a handle better suited for two-hand carrying--which I need to use.

I bought this dual fuel Westinghouse inverter generator for use in my RV and for general camping. I was immediately well impressed by the quality of manufacture, the light weight for available wattage and the instrumentation panel. On opening the service panel I was again impressed with how well built this piece of equipment is. I have absolutely zero buyers remorse with this purchase and am in fact excited and proud to own it!

Much better form factor than I was expecting - shorter than I was expecting! The flat top is very handy for setting things down and will help keep it sturdy when strapped down. Runs like a champ as well. Love the dual fuel option! No gas in the camper!

Bought unit on 10/31/24 and but through the 5 hour break in procedure the next day varying from no load to 50% load with a space heater - The generator ran flawlessly. Took about 5 pulls to start after the first fuel fill to prime but after that it started on first pull after the 3 oil changes that I did for break in. So far I'm very happy.

I purchased this about 3 weeks ago and broke it out on my last camping trip. It worked as advertised and is the perfect size to store in the bed of my pickup and am even able to close my lid. It is easy to transport. Provides the additional power needed when you are boondocking too. Looking forward to really getting to use it later in the summer when we will be doing a great deal of boon docking.

Currently I own Honda, Yamaha and Predator generators of different sizes and costs. I was a bit skeptical at first when I saw all the positive reviews on the iGen 2550. but I placed an order and it was on my deck in under a week. I followed the break-in instruction and ran it for a couple hours varying the load. I was extremely impressed on not only how quiet it ran, but how smooth it was running. I changed the oil and pulled the handle one time as it fired right up. For about 1/3 the cost of a Honda, I would definitely say the is a must have!

After months of doing research and searching for a generator that I felt would be worth it's money, I decided to get the Westinghouse IGen 2550. The generator is a great addition to the other generators I have for home use. Thanks for a great product.
