I am happy with this purchase. I wanted a small, quiet and easy to use generate to run a few things at the cottage if my power went out. I also wanted one that was an inverter and dual fuel because I prefer to run off a propane tank, as propane tanks can also be used for the BBQ so the fuel doesn't go stale! This one does all of these well. It took me a little while to get it started for the first time but I was able to do so with propane. The trick for mine was to prime the propane with 4 presses, pull the recoil a couple times with the choke out, and then close the choke three-quarters, and pull the recoil a few more times. I've run it a few times now to break it in, totalling about 4 hours.

It started right up and, after the recommended break-in, it easily powered my air conditioner, microwave and lights on my teardrop camp trailer. It's light weight, quiet and simple to operate. I like the fact that it has a 30 amp rv outlet (otherwise I wouldn't have purchased it) so this generator perfectly fits my needs.

I haven't had a ton of time with this product yet, however it seems to work as advertised out of the box. I did have a minor issue with it only running for a couple minutes before the oil shutoff turned it off. Turns out the included bottle of oil I got had too much in it, and the level was above the operating range causing the issue. After getting that resolved it seems to run just fine.

I purchased the IGen2550 in October of 2024. I have used it about 5 hours so far. It's quiet and light and affordable. My family and I do a lot of camping and college tailgating. I have a bigger champion generator that we take camping if we are going to use the A/C. I just wanted the 2550 more for light duty camping and tailgating. To be able to leave it running most of the day so our trailer can run some tvs and stereo while only using a couple of gallons is appealing. While having it plugged into my trailer it works pretty good. I am only giving it 4 stars as it has just stopped running about 5/6 times for no reason. Fuel and gas are both in check.

My family purchased this generator for the RV and emergencies. It works well with the RV and we feel we are more prepared for loss of electricity. It is not bulky but puts out good power. I highly recommend this for anyone with an RV or any outdoor enthusiast. But I also recommend this for the basic homeowner in case of loss of electricity.

I am a retired electrician and have been around generators my entire career. I am quite pleased with the design features of the unit - down to the little things like oil and fuel catches. I am confident that the quality and durability will be consistent with the great functional design.

Worked great when we got it. Load tested and everything ran great. Every month or so would crank and run just for maintenance. Got it out last week to run and load test in preparation for hurricane season. Struggled to run a power tool. Contacting Westinghouse to see what they tell me.

Perfect right out of the box. Easy instructions to follow and with in a few minutes it's fired up and ready for break in period. The display lights are great and bright. Noise levels are nice and low and way more quiet than my last traditional generator. Can't wait until I get to hunt camp to hook it up to my camper. Overall very impressive inverter generator and I'm sure it will be long lasting unit. Thanks for making such a great unit.

Received the generator. Followed the quick start guide, added the supplied oil, added new gas, turned off ECO mode, turned vent cap on, set the choke, pulled about 20 times on the recoil pull cord. No start. Did not turn over. Set to run and everywhere in-between and kept pulling the recoil cord but engine would not turn over at all. Checked the spark plug. Appeared fine but completely dry. Drained the fuel out of the carburetor, appeared the fuel was getting from the tank to the carburetor. Opened the carburetor, ran compressed air thru the fuel injector. Put back together and refueled. Still could not get to turn on. Opened the front panel. A two-wire black and red connector was disconnected but did not appear to attach to anything upon inspection. Everything else appeared fine. Put front panel back on. I think I got a lemon. I'm going to try Westinghouse support and see where I get.

I bought this inverter generator primarily for it's features---data display, 30 amp plug (although I am still limited to 1800 running watts), weight, and excellent reviews from previous buyers. Filled it with oil & gasoline last evening. Started fairly easily without much effort. Tried several power tools without a problem. The eco mode worked perfectly---the power tools barely increased the RPM's. The unit is exceptionally quiet. So far the IGen2550 has met all of my expectations. Very few of the small inverter generators I considered had a 30 amp RV outlet even though the unit is not capable of producing 30 amps. Also the LED data display is outstanding for a unit of this size. Very pleased with my purchase.
