Has everything I wanted in a portable generator

Just received and couldn't be happier. Recommend highly. Took a long time reviewing generators and this model was the best for my needs. Great price, plenty of runny watts, and quiet. Love the duel fuel. Just looking for a generator to use for home use when power goes out.

Easy to use

Just opened the box. My husband did all the recommended actions to operate the generator ( adding oil, adding gas, checking spark plug). This little machine started right away WITHOUT using the choke. We let it run for a good while without any issues. The eco mode makes it a bit quieter. It hasn't been used for the main reason i bought it: run a well water pump ( 1.5HP) in case of power outage. It is in another location. so i will update this review. But so far i like it: easy to start, not too heavy for me to carry. The pictures in the manual are very well done and easy to understand. Instructions easy to follow.

Westinghouse Inverter Generator

I purchased primarily to power my 27' camper during remote camping trips but also plan to use it for tailgating and emergency power needs when necessary. The set-up was extremely easy with pouring in the pre-measured oil using the provided screw in funnel, and filling with gas. The funnel threads into the hole where the dipstick is and it kept everything clean and spill free. Started on the second pull after getting gas through the carburetor and it is quieter than I expected. I know I probably should have purchased a larger model but I don't plan on pushing its limits. The 30 amp RV outlet will also allow me to plug in without the use of an adapter. Very happy with the purchase.

Tailgate Terrific

I bought this to use in place of a larger unit I have. This unit has all of the features I need for setting up for our tailgate events. The units overall weight was a big factor along with the other features. I had the chance to use the unit for a full six hour run and the unit never skipped a beat. The only draw back is the fuel shut off feature and fuel cap on/off feature is not working properly. The unit still runs in the off position. The unit will shut off when turned to the full off position.

Great inverter at a great price!

Just broke it in and hope to have many hours of use. My first one which was a iGen2500 and wanted this iGen 2550 is my second one for backup and has very similar features Time will tell but if it holds up anything like the first one I'll be a happy camper. Really like the easy access panel and digital readout.

Comes through in the clutch

I used a one of these, that belonged to a friend, after a storm causing a power outage. This generator ran for over 7 hours without refueling. Never did it seem to bog down when we plugged stuff in. It did not even hiccup with 3 refrigerators and freezers plugged into it. We added lights kept on purring. It was so quiet and and 1 pull starting. Love it so much I went and bought one for a insurance policy that I will never need one again, but if I do I know I have one that will do the job!

Lightweight, quiet

Have a large generator for home but wanted a smaller "suitcase" type generator for our place at the lake. Wished I would have had it before Helene knocked out the power for a couple weeks! Only had it a short time but am very satisfied with it's performance so far.

Lightweight and Powerful

After Helene, I decided to purchase a generator. It had to be light enough for me to carry and easy to start. This generator is just as powerful as heavier generators that require three times the fuel but have the same run time! Definitely a game changer.

Above expectation

I was running a champion 3400 dual fuel on my lance 650 camper.suprisingly when I needed to replace that generator, I chose westinghouse. The actuality is the westinghouse is as quiet or slightly quieter then the champion was. It is also 1/2 the wieght so it can be lifted and carried. Running a 13.5 btu ac was no issue and the run time was actually 2 hours more on 1.11gal vs 1.6gal of fuel. I ill admit that I have to chose between the microwave and the ac but the trade off of not burning fuel for power that's not needed wins.

Dual fuel iGen2550

Purchased this as a power backup for a house in the rare event that power is lost for more than a few hours. For short blackouts I have a BLUETTI 180? that will power the essentials like refrigerator freezers and air handler and some led lights. I like this dual fuel bc I don't want to have to drain all the gasoline from tank and carburetor each time. Just opened the box and set it up for propane tank operation. Starting requires some fiddling with the choke but not too bad. It is harder to restart it after running than from cold. Still better than dealing with gasoline. Ofc propane is more expensive than gasoline, but this is only used once in a blue moon. Efficiency is not a goal. Ofc it cannot power the whole house. But it can power the essentials as long as you have fuel. Noisewise it is comparable to a Honda eu2000. Very acceptable even just sitting in the open without sound box. Comparable to the big automatic Generacs connected to natural gas that some neighbors have. For an emergency solution I think it checks the boxes.
