Easy start and quiet!

Very impressed with the very easy pull - almost no back pressure at all, starts right up and quiet running. Easy access to oil and spark plug and nice pad on top for setting phone or small battery pack while charging. Display is bright and LED front panel lights are a nice add. Looking forward to using on camping, ATV, snowmobile and ice fishing trips.

Bonus Gift

I received this inverter for Xmas 2024 and the timing could not have been better as we are expecting severe cold weather that could very well result in an outage . My wife is on a oxygen concentrator 24 hrs a day so not having power is not an option for us. The test start up went without a hitch.

Very quiet, easy to start first time.

I just unpacked this light weight generator. I had an IGen4500 watt Westinghouse generator and it was great. But it was too big for our RV needs, so I ordered this 2550 gen. I put 91 octane fuel in it with a little fuel stabilizer. Added the oil. It took a half dozen pulls on the cord but then it fired right up. It is very quiet. I think it will meet all or our traveling needs.

Very Happy with this Generator

I just received this generator yesterday, filled it with oil and gas and fired right up. It starts first pull, looks like good quality but still light weight. The pop off panels make it easy to access maintenance areas. I'm still breaking it in but it's a good little unit so far and not very loud.

Excellent inverter generator for my needs

Bought this a couple of months ago as a more portable and compact power option for power outages and general power needs. It's been all I could hope for and more. It's a touch louder “in the wild” than I expected, but still easily can talk over it (per my watch, it's about 62dB). Fuel lasts a long time and plenty of power for my needs. Pretty easy to move around even when full of fuel. All in all, perfect for my needs.

Nice portable unit

The unit is really light, portable and quiet. Starts on gas just fine. Engine needs to be warm to start or cutover to propane (outside temperature is 30F). I will followup with Westinghouse about that. Need a power failure or to go camping to fully test.

Big power, little package!

I ordered this generator to use with our slide-in camper. After adding the oil and gas, it fired up quickly. I have tested it on our camper microwave and A/C individually and this little unit never missed a beat. It's going to be a great asset to have along with us in our travels!

IGEN2550C Review

I bought this to run my 15,000 but AC in my RV. The generator is light weight and compact. It starts very easily. I like the controls and displayed info. No wheels, but is so light, who needs them. The sound level is on par with the expensive red model. Love it so far.

Power Backup For Camper

After a battery problem with our camper, we decided it would be good to have the back-up capability of a small generator. We looked for (1) dual fuel because we didn't want to carry gasoline (2) campground quiet (3) a well-known name with good reviews and (4) purchased from a national organization in case we have issues while traveling. After reviewing many products online and looking at reviews on chat groups where we knew people, we narrowed our choice to a couple of generators. This Westinghouse fit the bill, seemed like a good value and was available from a national store. Starting our first camping trip with it shortly, but it was easy to assemble -- everything needed was in the box. Instructions were mostly clear (didn't say to put the access panel back on, but I guess when you're done, you put it back on!). It started on the very first pull running on propane. It's quiet, although may be a little louder than we thought, but let's see what happens when we get it going. So far, I'm a fan!

Superb Little Generators

I have had a iGen2200 since around 2018 and decided to order another, the 2550 Dual Fuel because from my experience with the 2200, they are awesome. Being dual fuel is a plus as well. Use my older 2200 all the time for random projects. Just went through Hurricane Milton and lost power for a few days. Used the 2200 to run a small window A/C unit, a deep freezer, small little fridge, and TV. Ran constantly for 3 days flawlessly. Saved us for sure. Thus, upgrading and purchasing the 2550 for us was a no brainer. The newer 2550 has all the outlets and buttons covered from moisture and is designed great with easy access to all the areas for maintenance. I havent had a chance to use this newer 2550, but from my experience with the 2200, we are going to love it!
