Small and Powerful

After weeks of searching for a compatible generator that would work to power my trailers air conditioning system yet still light enough for the wife to carry, I came across this 2500. I was shocked to see that even though it was a 2500 that it's running watts was still at 2200. Most other gens would be around the 17-1800 running watts. This provides more than enough power to keep my family cool while dry camping. I know that fuel time wont be as long as a larger gen but as long as I keep filling the tank this gen will keep on running. The only downside was that my gen was missing a fuel filter. After a quick chat with Westinghouse we got a case created and I am now waiting on a new filter.

iGen2500 a Great Inverter Generator

This Westinghouse iGen 2500 is a tremendous value. This was bought to power a RV Coleman Mach15 15,000 btu air conditioner. The AC unit was equipped with a easy start and the iGen2500 has no problem operating this AC unit. The iGen 2500 is quiet and powerful. At 48 lbs it is very easy to move around. A recent trip to Death Valley with the AC, the electric refrigerator and other misc electrical loads, the iGen2500 ran over 9 hours before refueling. Fuel consumption is based on your electrical load, so it's quite variable. For our situation we are very pleased with the iGen2500 performance, how quiet it is, it's compact size and the value it provides.

Good build quality.

So far, I'm pleased with this generator. It was properly boxed to avoid shipping damage. I really like the digital information panel. With this unit, and a much larger open frame generator, I feel well prepared. I've never owned a (H) or (Y) generator, so I can't compare them, but the internal components all appear to be top quality. Only time will tell how reliable the igen2500 is. After proving itself over the long run, this machine may get a revised rating of five stars.

Great All Purpose Generator!

I bought this over a year ago. This is my first generator and I wasn't sure what to expect. I have used this more than I thought I would and it has been great. I have use it for camping a lot. It has worked great with my camp trailer. I have also used it a lot for other recreational activities. I highly recommend this generator.

Very Good

I bought this during the winter storms but it didn't arrive until afterwards. However, we had a big storm this past weekend and lost power. This generator worked like a champion. A little louder than I was expecting, but I didn't really know what to expect as this is my first generator. I'm thinking about getting an identical one for even more power!

iGEN2500C is small yet packed with features.

I just purchased this Westinghouse iGEN2500C and found it to be packed with features that are only found in larger Inverter Generators. Easily started, monitors carbon monoxide to automatically shut itself down and displays all the important output power and fuel consumption parameters.

Super quiet and fuel efficient

I bought this last month and just used this past weekend. I filled fuel only 1/4 full and ran tv, hotspot and satellite for almost 6 hrs. In eco mode this thing is so quiet and very fuel efficient. Also after extensive research this has better ratings than the other “red brand”. I highly recommend it

Easy Starting and Excellent User Manual

This is the second generator I bought in a year. The iGen2500 is easier to start, and puts out 30% more power, yet weighs just 2 lbs more, is the same size and equally quiet. The iGen2500 even came with a bottle of engine oil and a dipstick, little things missing on the other brand. The User Manual is extraordinarily complete. It's also a great value.

Great generator for the price!

We have only used once but started it up a few times before we actually plugged loads in. Start up is extremely easy. We were concerned on how loud it would be as we have a larger dual fuel generator that is extremely loud. This inverter generator actually was decently quiet and could handle what we needed it to. Overall great buy for the price and watts.

First Day Review with Small RV AC

Setup was fairly easy, but oil fill is behind cover that requires Philips screwdriver to remove. Added a little gas and it started after three pulls. Connected to my RV with a Coleman Mach 10 13.5k BTU AC. Turned the AC on low (~1kw draw) and iGen showed 50% load on eco mode. Using Android Sound Meter app, it was registering 82dB from over 6' away -- this is much louder than the advertised 52dB. If I disconnect all load, it does quiet down a bit.
