We purchased our Brother Printer in September 2012, and this is only the second cartridge we have purchased. Compare that to regular replacements on an inkjet, and you can see there are great savings with a laser. We don't have color, but we haven't found that a bad thing especially since our at-home printing is much more dependable. Inkjet printers are cheap to buy but expensive to keep. Even though we don't print every single day, our laser cartridges do not dry out.

I had recently purchased a Brother laser printer and needed to purchase a new toner cartridge ( which had been indicated for a few days with a yellow warning light which flashed on the printer. Of course, I was busy and did not immediately purchase one. I was in the middle of printing a very important report and my cartridge ran out...it was late Sunday afternoon. I was in a real jam - I went to the Walmart site, and they had the toner at the best price I had seen. I ordered it online and was advised it would be available at my local Walmart. I went to the store, and it was ready for pickup. Easiest purchase ever, and saved me a great deal of stress. Will purchase again from my local walmart - Goodbye Staples!

This has to be packaged incorrectly. It certainly does not print the full number of pages, or anything near that. Must have been the less expensive model in the box. Very disappointed. I paid the $50 something, and it lasted less than half the web page stated number. Never again.

I always order my toner for my Brother printer from Sam's Club. I don't live close to a club (100 miles) so I don't always have a trip planned when I get the message that my toner is low. The price is the best I have found and there is free shipping. Last time I ordered, I needed some legal envelopes for the business and I had planned to order them, but the shipping was almost as much as the price of the envelopes, so I decided not to order them. I purchased a few locally and will get the big box of envelopes next time I go to Sam's Club. Can't beat the price and quality!

Ordered this the 23rd, and UPS walked in with it on the 25th. Wow! And this is shipping from Arkansas to Alaska. Impressive. Never had an issue with this toner, works fine. Haven't kept track of the amount of pages it prints, though. We use it in a small but busy real estate office for our one laser printer. Easy to load, no lemons yet. 2 cartridges last us about 2-3 months.

This is the recommended toner cartridge for my printer and I never substitute another brand, no matter the price. The best price for this toner...by far...was at Walmart.com. It arrived in excellent condition and was the exact same item you would purchase from another retailer or the Brother company itself.

It is almost cheaper to buy a new printer than replace the cartridge but I like my printer so...... I did some comparison shopping for a new cartridge and, as always, Walmart won. My dad always told me "If you can't find it at Walmart, you don't really need it."

I originally purchased this at another "computer" store before checking the price at Sam's Club...and it was almost $20 CHEAPER at Sam's..... so I took the other one back for a refund and purchased this one!!! I should have known to check Sam's Club FIRST because their prices are always the best buy!!! Great HIGH YIELD cartridge for my new Brother printer! Thank you Sam's Club!!!!

As I write this, the product is a decent value because of current Walmart price and because item was eligible for free shipping at time of purchase. Since I don't really know how to distinguish a real Brother toner cartridge from a counterfeit one, I'll assume that it's genuine. Only potential problem is that you need to remove drum from old cartridge and transfer it to new one. Originally I planned to pull out the starter cartridge that came with printer and set it aside as a backup. After reading instructions accompanying new high capacity cartridge, I decided that would be too much of a mess for no good reason. If you have a Brother laser printer that uses this cartridge type then this high capacity model from Walmart is a good choice. But remember, no drum is included, which means changing toner could be a bit messier than you would like.

I have use several and all performed well.
