I bought 3 of these online as Christmas gifts but decided to give them a little early. I will say I was a little disappointed that they didn’t come in the original box when shipped to me because I was going to give these as gifts. It only came in a brown shipping box. We opened two and the kids have been playing with them, it says it can take 48 hours to completely expand. I will update if it takes longer. I don’t have a nugget but I compared the two before buying this one and they’re the same exact size!

This review isn't so much about the product BECAUSE I HAVENT RECEIVED IT YET but more so about the horrible customer service (not the person, but the policies). We ordered this right after Thanksgiving for $150 (it was $30 off at the time) and it was supposed to be delivered on December 7th. It is now December 13 and still no sofa. Since Christmas is right around the corner, called customer service and they said it hasn't even shipped yet. I realized that the color we ordered is CURRENTLY out of stock but WASNT when we ordered it. I had to point out to the customer service rep that the color we ordered is currently out of stock. I asked if they could SIMPLY just send me an in stock color. He said no, that he would have to refund me for my purchase (takes 5-7 business days) and then i would have to reorder the sofa (at regular price) and he would price match. Then he goes to tell me the $ he is sending me to price match is going to be a Sam's Club gift card!??! What an inconvenience!! If something is out of stock they should inform the customer so they can make other arrangements. ESP around the holidays!

We have the thin pads in a large playpen as extra padding. Our 15-month-old likes to lay on those. We also have one of the triangle pads in there and he likes to flip that around. We'll incorporate the additional pads as he gets older. I'm sure we're going to get our money's worth out of this set. It seems very durable as well.

Purchased for toddler and preschooler. They love it. It has many functions. I only deducted a star because I purchased emerald and it is hardly comparable to the stock images. However, it still matches the bedroom decor so we kept it! For the price, I felt we can’t complain!

Save your money and buy the mod blox. I had purchased this because it was cheaper than the mod blox brand. Just spend the extra bucks on the mod blox. Products does not fully expand. The triangles does not expand fully. On the smaller folding foam, the middle where it folds is completely flat. It has been airing out for 2 full days. There are corners and sides that’s just pinched flat and won’t expand. Waste of money. Get yourself the mod blox brand as they fully expand within a couple hours.

I raved when we first got this couch. My daughter loved it. We had fun stacking and playing but the zipper does not hold up! It is very cheap zipped and broke within the first couple months of us having it. We never even took it off the couch to wash it just ripped open and wouldn't zip shut. Very disappointing but now I'm on the hunt for a replacement cover.

My brother in law designed his own “nugget” couch and my daughter loves it. I thought I’d buy this since she loves that so much. She spends hours climbing, jumping, sliding, Etc on this couch. I didn’t experience the issue with it puffing up to full size or the zipper issues. This is $200! It’s worth the cash just to let them have somewhere to sit. Those personalized chairs from that one big store cost $100, spend an extra hundred and let them have it for longer!

Honestly wanted to like this as much as the original nugget, but it just doesn’t compare. If you are going to use it just as a couch or maybe a bed that’s fine but it’s just not as sturdy as the nugget for builds. Also washed the cover one time and followed the directions and the zipper broke. Would not recommend if you can buy the original nugget I would instead!

We have three of these. Originally had two with the old zipper, which we never had an issue with. The work and look great. Our most recent Explorer Sofa came in yellow with new zippers. Sounds like they heard a few people’s complaints and switched out for different zippers. I personally liked the original zippers better but I’m sure some people will be reassured knowing that the zippers have been switched out.

I bought 2 of these for last Christmas and my kids have been loving them. Overall they work fine for what they are, but I do have a few complaints. -The flimsy zippers are crap and are constantly breaking on almost every piece I have for both sets. It's such a headache to wash because I have to spend so much time working the zippers back on and dealing with so many snags. - The foam isn't as good as the regular nugget and just doesn't feel as dense. Several corners have just ripped off somehow through the fabric. One of my triangle pieces never quite got it's shape and it still lumpy and squished even though we bought it so long ago. It handles the builds, but just not as well as a real nugget would. Overall I would say it works just fine for a children's play couch. My kids are able to build with them and climb all over it, but if you're wanting something that will last and hold up to the abuse of playtime I would just spend the extra money on the nugget.
