Excellent! My husband loved it. We used the recipe on the back for lobster rolls. He didn’t use old bay or Cyrene pepper. ( not his taste) it was east to take the frozen lobster tails and freeze pack them individually for single use.

Excellent value! The quality seems better because the lobster tails are still frozen. Other retailers sell lobster tails that are “previously frozen” and the thawed before being sold. I prefer to keep these tails frozen until the day before I cook them- then they taste very fresh!

We bought the cold water lobster tails. They did taste good but it was very difficult to get the lobster meat out of the shell. We prefer the lobster tails we used to buy that were larger and the lobster meat was easier to remove from the shell.

One tail was mushy. I used a sous vide lobster tail method at 130 degrees with shell removed. All 4 were in one vacuumed bag. We were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and unfortunately the one she had was very mushy. The other three were fine.

Great quality, but I was sad to find much larger tails (7 oz. vs 4 oz.) at 30% less per pound this week at a local regional grocery/variety store chain. We usually assume Sam's Club products are at the very lowest cost, but not this time. So, I'd recommend shopping around for this item.

These lobster tails disappointing. I poached them in a Beurre Monte sauce, the sauce was great. The cook temp never exceeded 135F and was for a period of six minutes. They should have been firm and flavorful. Unfortunately, the result was ocean mush. Likely, somewhere during the time between processing and purchase, these lobster tails thawed and were re-frozen. At least it was only $40. I've never had this issue will ordering directly from that lobster company in Maine.

I was extremely disappointed in this product. First, I didn’t like the smell of the lobsters when I took them out of the box but I figured they were from a box, not fresh. Then I cooked them in the oven as directed. This was not my first time cooking lobsters being I’m a senior citizen. The lobsters were extremely salty and foul tasting. I had problems getting the lobster meat out of the shell, it seemed to be stuck. Didn’t enjoy it. Took one bit and threw it away.

One of the lobster tails was completely green and we had to throw it away. Our NYE dinner had to be adjusted because we only had enough lobster for three of us.

We decided to go non traditional for this Thanksgiving. We wanted to have a fancy dinner with scallops and lobster. We were super excited!! Thawed the lobster the night before in the refrigerator shell side up. Went to get everything prepped and turned the lobster shell side down and two of the four were green!!! The most disgusting and disappointing experience for Thanksgiving dinner. Pretty much ruined the holiday for us. There are four of us, so we each got a half from the two good lobsters at least. Lesson learned - spend the extra at Cub/Hyvee where you can see the lobster!

I had enjoyed this product on an earlier purchase, but on my recent purchase, the lobsters were mushy and not presentable to my guests. We had to discard the lobster and scramble to make additional dishes to replace the lobster. I hesitate buying this product again given my recent experience.
