Love the ai optimal dry that detects how wet your clothes are and how long it needs to time dry for. Haven’t figured out how to change how much heat it uses on this because I would love to save more energy usage with power bills being so high. Nice to have the steam functionally in case you ever want to remove wrinkles. This setting could use a few more minutes on drying cause clothes are still a little damp even though its using cold water for steam. Overall a great dryer and you need this!

However, I adjusted the dryness and it was good after that. I hope the dryer (and washer) could be more controllable with the Smartthings. I do not see much benefit of using Smartthings with the Samsung washer and dryer yet.

this dryer is great! the color and style are very beautiful, sleek, and modern. the navy blue is a deep and subtle color that i think would work in most homes. the dryer also has a ton of smart features, and the controls and menu are super easy to use. the ai cycle is especially useful - it's the only cycle i ever have to run, and i don't have to worry about adjusting settings. the dryer also connects to samsung's app, which is more handy than i expected - the app will notify you when your laundry is dry, and you can adjust any settings directly form the app. it's also super high capacity, and fits heavy loads or large bedding. i am loving this dryer!

The aesthetics is simply nice with chrome only present on the control knob, around the washer & door. This color has a stunning reflection and appears to be made of liquid metal. The performance of the washer in washing and drying your clothes is just as important as how they look. Simply put, it excel ls at carrying out its primary duty. Despite the fact that I haven't yet laundered a thick blanket, I am confident it will fit, which is adequately big to handle huge loads like comforters.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently bought this dryer and I am very satisfied with my purchase. I love that it stacks on top of the matching washing and can be controlled via the washer control panel. However it does seem to leave clothes slightly damp on smart settings.

Bought this dryer (as part of a combo purchase with the washer) during the labor day 2023 sales events with great expectation; i am testing it today - Sept 10th with a few clothes. I was jolted by the sudden and totally unexpected noise from the "Vent System Test"; no where was it stated in the manual to expect this noise. My hope and expectation have been completely dashed by the vibration, the squealing /grinding/deafening noise coming from this device. Noise was audible from all the adjoining rooms to the laundry room. This can't be normal, I am disappointed and I don't recommend this product.

And the hookup to smart things makes it really easy to check in on a laundry load or restart the machine or customize settings and see data on my usage.
