I do not recommend

I do not recommend! If only I could give zero stars... the shrimp isn’t Deveined as advertised and it is best you CLEAN THOROUGHLY. I will never buy this brand again. Such a disappointment and waste of money.

Bad quality

As a person who knows about quality sea food. It doesn’t matter is it is frozen. The weight of this shrimp is water. Meaning when you cook it, you barely get what you pay for and it is not Jumbo. You better pay 1 more dollar per pound as you will get the weight. Yes, it is normal to lose some water when defrosted or cooked? But this rhino looses more than a third of its weight. Not a good product at all.

the best size shrimp for the best price!

This 3# bag of shrimp for less than $13 is a win win! Amazing size! I use these for shrimp boils and my meal preps for clients and they are a great quality! The shells are firm for my boils and they don’t shrink when cooked. They don’t have a smell which is good! I hope they stay this price forever! I buy 5-6 bags at a time and store them in my freezer! The only place I get my shrimp!

Quality is good but price is not right.

The quality is acceptable but the price showed not right. As we can see the unit price is $3.75/lb which is a lot lower than what we often see in this size of shrimp but actually the total price for a bag of 3 lbs go up to $14.98 which mean each lb will be costed about $4.99. So, that will be a different on price listed on the site. It will be a trap for people who usually compare price on unit like me. So be careful! If you like it anyway, at the price of $4.99/lb or $14.98 for a bag of 3 lbs it still worthy to buy. Can give it a try.

Nothing Jumbo here.

I bought these shrimp to butterfly, coat, and fry. There was not enough meat to butterfly. I ended up just shelling the shrimp and frying them like popcorn shrimp. There were about 3 or 4 shrimp that I would classify as large but, the rest were medium at best. When I bought the package I didn't inspect the contents carefully because i've always trusted Members Mark and Sam's. Im hoping it was a labelling mistake, otherwise, it's a rip-off.

Very Satisfied!

I’m very satisfied and impressed with this lot of shrimp. They’re nice size and fresh. There are plenty in the bag, and they are PARTIALLY deveined. The veins on the bottom are still there, but for me that’s not a deal breaker. It takes no time to remove it. All in all, I’m very pleased with my purchase and I highly recommend them.

These shrimp are ok

After total defrost out of the bag, the shrimp still weighed 3 pounds. After the shell and tail removed the shrimp weighed 2.2 pounds, which is normal. Some of the shrimp are ragged out that I believe from a dull deveining machine. These shrimp are farm raised which means they are milder than gulf caught, but I prefer farm raised.

Best shrimp for the money

I made shrimp and grits for the first time two days ago and the shrimp was amazing. Very easy to peel and it cooks so beautifully that a recipe that serves eight was devoured by my family of five. Compare the prices and you'll find that this 3 lb. bag of shrimp is the best value for your money.

Good Shrimp for the price

I have brought this shrimp several times and sometimes the packaging is different. Also the shrimp is different inside the package. I think the firm shrimp is a better quality. I never know when the best shrimp is available. But I do recommend this product.

Great tasting !!

We bought the shrimp wondering what they would taste like. Upon defrosting them, they were the easiest to peel ! I cooked them in my gumbo and the shrimp were wonderful !! They had no gritty taste or dirtiness taste. It wS pleasant to eat shrimp without the dye taste also !!
