I expect 2-3 years out of a battery, with occasional trickle charge. This one died as soon as warranty expired...

We buy all our batteries for our mowers at Sam's and they last for us 3-4 years!! And we have three mowers!!!!

doesn't last a year. for the third time. tried recondition, gives me internal cell short message. Done with this brand.

This battery lasted 5 years in my John Deere Lawn Tractor. Needs replacement now. I never got more than a year out of different brand batteries.

Junk! Lasted 16 months. Seriously? I have never gotten less than three years out of a battery. I keep them on a smart battery tender all during the off season.

Poor life won’t hold charge - Duracell no longer a good product

Bought one 11 years ago and even with Michigan weather it still starts each time I mow. Every spring I trickle charge it for 2 days and it goes through another summer.

For those surprised this battery doesn't last,, 1. Can't leave it in a cold garage all winter. have to bring it in. 2. Hook up a trickle charge to it. Also helps if you have a charger that can recondition. You do that it will last years. That goes for any small engine battery that is used only periodically. Otherwise be prepared to possibly have to replace yearly.

I shouldn't be writing this review, (Murphy's Law), but I have had this battery on my Hustler mower since March 2017. I usually pull it after mowing season and keep it in the garage where I can throw it on the float charger. I forgot last year. Just went out to bring it in to prep for spring mowing season. It was still reading 12.7 Volts. Put it on the float charger to top it off and in a short time have a green light. I usually expect to get maybe two seasons out of a mower battery. Four seasons and counting. (Knock on wood!) Definately have gotten my money's worth out of this one.
