The 9 year old battery in my John Deere 485 failed to start the tractor and wasn't any better after charging. The new Duracell U1 is doing a great job so far. The coming Michigan winters will tell the tale.

with the Duracell name you might think this is a good battery but, mine lasted about a year in working order but then it died and would not hold a charge. very frustrating.

Used to always believe that Duracell was the best, but not anymore. Lasted only 3 years. My previous lasted 6 yrs. It was a Craftsman that came with the rider, but craftsman lawn batteries are no longer available.

I bought one at Sams club in June 2017. It just ran dead about 1 month ago. I use it to start my Craftsman Riding mower and mow my lawn on average of 2 times per month. I am going back to sams to buy another . At a price of $30 p[lus dollars , I have a good deal

This battery lasted 5 years in my John Deere Lawn Tractor. Needs replacement now. I never got more than a year out of different brand batteries.

Died in 8 months, while on conditioning charger. Sam's knows its bad but carries it and only it anyway.

doesn't last a year. for the third time. tried recondition, gives me internal cell short message. Done with this brand.

I expect 2-3 years out of a battery, with occasional trickle charge. This one died as soon as warranty expired...
