Once I ordered it, I was going crazy waiting for it to be delivered. I was doing a daily countdown! Now that it's here, it's everything we expected. So soft and supportive. Sleep is so peaceful and comfortable again. We had a S&F before our last mattress, and from now on, we will only buy S&F!

Obviously this is the priciest mattress I've ever had, but at my age it is no time to skimp on sleep comfort. So far so good, hopefully it will last a good long time. No complaints.

The pillow top is soft, and the mattress is firm, so no back ache! I slept like a baby. It is heavy and can be hard to change the sheets.

The store warned me that it might be really tight and smell like plastic when it arrived. I did not experience either. I just to moan when I got out of bed in the morning, I never realized how bad my old mattress was. I have not had any ackey joints since I received the mattress. My only regret is I didn't purchase it years ago. Thanks for building such great quality products

After 17 years with a horrible hard mattress, I'm happy to say I no longer have any aches and pains! I was hesitant to spend the extra money on the upgraded reserve pillow top but I'm so glad I did! It was worth every penny! Now I love to go to bed because I know I'm going to get a good nights sleep!

After 3 back surgeries and continuing back problems for many years, I had accepted waking every morning with back pain. And then I slept on a Stearns and Foster luxe mattress while visiting a family member . For the first time, I awoke with NO back pain. I couldn't believe it! In the end, after talking directly with a company representative, I ordered the higher reserve model, and I'm glad I did. This bed has been exceptional since it arrived. I tried other well known mattresses for years, that required special sheets, and had bulky platforms. None of them even come close to this magnificent bed. The platform is compact, and any deep pocket sheet fits perfectly. Iis expensive, but worth every penny. Given how much of our lives are spent sleeping, it is an investment in your health that is well worth making. I awake refreshed and ready for the day. If you're like me, you had enough of our 10+ year old mattress and wanted something that will last. This is the mattress. I am not a back sleeper but laying on this mattress you instantly feel comfortable and supported. Paired with the Power Base 4.0, I definitely feel like I have the ultimate in comfort.

I decided to upgrade to a newer model (after many years on my old S&F!) and could not be happier. It is gorgeous and comfortable, well-made and high quality as expected. The delivery could've been a bit better but was overall fine. I also love the ability to raise and lower the head and foot for additional comfort.

Finally, when we got this Stearns Foster mattress, we found our match. I read reviews each time I bought each mattress. Not sure what to say except the first two - which were also not inexpensive - were just not comfortable. They were so uncomfortable that I was roaming from one bed to the couch and back. When we got this Stearns and Foster bed, I stopped roaming and slept through the night without aching in the morning. I wish we would have bought this first, but at least I'm glad we kept looking instead of giving up. We bought this hybrid, medium mattress with the base and I don't think we'll ever buy another brand now that we've found a comfortable bed. We'll worth the cost. Five stars.

Hands down, the best mattress for me is the Stearns and Foster Lux Hybrid-firm. I love my mattress, no shoulder pain and I highly recommend this mattress. Don't let the firm mislead you, try it out. This mattress provide the perfect level of support in firmness and comfort.
