Product is quality....all pieces came wrapped in plastic and are flawless in finish....4 boxes. 1 & 2 are the structure and 3 & 4 are the slats....hardware is blister wrapped with easy identifiers and plenty of extra pieces of each and several drive bits included...direction book was awesome, with detailed drawings and clear instructions, every step was detailed.....I constructed 90% of it myself with just some additional help to stand it up and add the 2 end pieces, once up, 1 person can complete adding the slat top....took me about 4 hours to construct the structure and about another 4 hours today to add the slats, and works as advertised with smooth rotation of the slats from full open to full closed....another nice feature is all the screw in hardware has a drop of loctite added....I still need to move to its final location and use the included concrete anchors to attach to my patio....I have to give this product a ten...I did not have ANY connections that did not line up perfectly, and it zipped right together.

It took three people around 4-5 hours to put up my pergola, which might have been quicker if not for the heat wave. The screws were securely packaged and the organization was impressive, with everything clearly labeled. When the louvers are fully open and the sun shines through, it feels cooler than sitting directly in the sun. It hasn’t rained yet to see how well the pergola stands up to other elements but I’m sure it will do well. After a week, I’m loving it. The only improvement would be offering accessories, like a curtain for one side or all sides to block more sun or a way to hang lights. Other than that, it’s a great purchase!

This pergola was purchased 6 weeks ago, and so far, we are very satisfied with the effect on our patio and the overall quality of the product. It was worth paying to have it assembled, due to a lack of time, and other family priorities. It was completely set up within 4 hours, which would've taken us days. Outside of blowing rain, it stays dry underneath as advertised. The pergola is easy to open and close, and the electric/charging port is a nice added feature for lighting, phone charging, etc. I plan to anchor it soon, but it already has withstood 50+ mph wind gusts without being anchored. We are pleased with our purchase so far. We will see how it goes over time.

I love the ability to adjust the louvers for shade or sun and the gutters ensure that my furniture stays clean and dry. I will be purchasing soon!

I like the pergola itself because there is one major issue - no option to add patio shades! , Due to the direction of the sun, we can not use the pergola passed 3PM which is a big bummer. Patio shades would have been a solution but Backcountry doesnt have any for their pergola.

Bought and installed May of 2025. Took me and a buddy about 3.5 hours to fully assemble. We noted that some paint had been damaged during transport, but otherwise all parts, hardware, and assembly tools were there. Given all the rain we've been having, it was perfect weather to put the folding louvers to the test - needless to say, we grilled and chilled uninterrupted by mother nature. My only concern is the linkage for opening and close the louvers; but time will tell if it holds up.

Wow! We are impressed. The quality of our pergola couldn't be better. My husband and I setup in 6 hours. Everything was labeled, organized and easy to follow. Everything fit together and had no issues with alignment. The option to close and open the louvers is a wonderful option. Our deck was full sun during the day not much fun. But, now we can enjoy all day long.

I bought the Sarasota Louvered Pergola 2 weeks ago and I love it. The louvered is adjustable it opens all the way or you can close it all the way if it’s raining, what a genius idea. I love the no maintenance with the galvanized steel and its sleek stylish black color. The instructions made it easy to install and came with all the anchoring plates and a 5 year warranty. I think I might buy one for my mom for Mother’s Day.

Delivered May 12 all parts included and no damage. 4 heavy duty boxes. Took 2 of us a total of 22 hours. Got the beams up first day and finished the rest the next day. We took our time and used the manual as well as the BLIT app. The directions are very good. I attached to my deck and used a couple of 2 by 10 between and attached to my jost. Then used 5 inch 3/8 bolts to fasten it. It's not going to go anywhere. Really love how everything turned out and this is one solid structure, well built and produced. From start to finish it's a 10. Now looking forward to using it and having a few friends over for food and drinks. If you're looking for the perfect Pergola this is it, don't hesitate.

Beautiful. My friends put this together with no problem. There were no screws included to secure the pergola but otherwise they put it with no problem. Virtual customer was great. They were very patient while I asked various questions to make sure this was a good fit for us prior to purchase
