Excellent Dryer!

The DLE6100W clothes dryer was a gift for my parents. It is a wonderful upgrade from their old dryer. It does a great job of sensing when the clothes are dry, as long as you don’t have a mix of heavy and light weight clothes. And you’are alerted by a very pleasant chime instead of a loud buzz. The dryer is also attractive with a modern minimalist look. My parents are extremely satisfied. So am I.

Hello! Ah, the DLE6100W, the superhero of dryers! 🦸‍♂️ Not only does it save the day by sensing when clothes are dry (no more guessing games with heavy and light fabrics!), but it also serenades you with a delightful chime instead of a heart-stopping buzz. Love to see it and know that you're enjoying this amazing LG dryer as you should and meeting requirements! Can't wait for you to try other amazing appliances we have on our LG.com website. Efficient and overdue!

I bought this just over a month ago and have been so pleased with its performance. We bought this as a replacement to an old dryer that came with our home and wish we would have made the switch sooner. Its functionality is overall efficient For our busy lifestyle.

New washer and dryer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had both washer and dryer for a week. So far both work well. We bought them because we have an LG refrigerator and double wall oven. Also, the controls are simple and that's what we were looking for.

Horrible dryer

Dryer messed up at 11 months of owning it. Luckily it was still under manufacture warranty, got new motor, 3 fuses replaces, new screen and now the heat blower is messed up. Horrible to be paying for something that's didn't last. Washer has to be set on deep fill in order for tub to fill and clothes to be washed correctly. Never again LG.

Might save someone a fire hazard

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve only had it a week but seems fine. However , initially it was drying which is why we got rid of our old one. Researched troubleshooting on line which lead us to cleaning out the vent tubing. It was totally blocked and we got tons of junk out. All is well now,but I felt compelled to put out a warning for folks to check their dryer vent hoses a minimum of yearly. This could be a huge fire hazard. We were so lucky and will now add it to our calendar for a yearly check.

Hi Loom, thank you for sharing your experience with the LG DLE6100W Electric Dryer. We’re glad to hear it’s working well after the first week, and we really appreciate you highlighting the importance of checking dryer vent hoses. A blocked vent can absolutely affect drying performance and create a serious fire hazard, so your reminder is a valuable one for other customers. Adding a yearly vent check to your routine is a smart move. If you need further assistance, feel free to email lgdigitalcare@lg.sprinklrsupport.com. #LifesGood ❤️ LG Digital Care Team ^Rich

Love this!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this because my other one decided to not work. I wash a lot of clothes and I was worried that this wouldn’t clean as well. I have a California King size bed and I wash my comforter often because I have two cats that sleep with me. This had absolutely no problems washing it and it came out perfectly clean. I am truly happy that I got this.

Hi, Kim. Thank you for sharing your experience with us. It’s wonderful to hear how well your LG Dryer (DLE6100W) model is working for your laundry needs. This unit is designed with a large capacity and LG’s Sensor Dry technology, which helps ensure thorough and even drying while protecting fabrics. Its powerful performance makes it a great match for handling bulky items like a California King comforter, and its durable build is made to keep up with frequent laundry loads. To keep it performing at its best, a helpful step is to clean the lint filter before every cycle to maintain strong airflow and efficient drying. If you need further assistance, please email us at lgdigitalcare@lg.sprinklrsupport.com. #Life’s Good❤️ ‑LG Digital Care Team ^Juvy

Not what I thought.

I find the dryer is hard to understand and requires me to review the manual and I am even watching YouTube videos on how to operate it. I purchased the maintenance coverage and now they say I need to pay more for maintenance coverage. Misleading. I figured with the machine being new and advanced, use would be simple. It isn't.

Confusing sets or dry cycles

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this about 3 weeks ago. While I like the large capacity I do not understand and have not been able to select a dry cycle medium, low, or high that will be an-energy saver cycle on the manual dry. When I select normal on the sensor dry the energy saver does show on but there is no heat and after a good while the heat comes on.. How can that be saving energy?

Hi there. Thank you for reaching us. I'm so sorry to hear that you're having trouble understanding the energy-saving features on your new LG DLE6100W dryer. I can imagine how frustrating it must be to feel like you're not getting the benefits of energy efficiency. Firstly, I want to acknowledge that we appreciate your enthusiasm for the large capacity of your dryer and your desire to make a positive impact on the environment through energy savings. I understand that the manual dry cycle options for medium, low, and high heat don't seem to be offering the energy-saving benefits you expected. I apologize that our product manual didn't clearly explain this feature, and I'm here to help clarify things for you. Please reach out to us on social media @LGUSSupport so we can help you further. ^Cris
