[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Beautyrest Black is overall a great mattress. It looks incredibly glamorous! It’s very well made and provides great support despite only being of medium firmness. Neither of us has had a sweaty night since we got it despite the 100• temperatures we’re having right now. The one complaint is the way the pillow top is designed. Instead of being the same thickness to the edge of the mattress, it gently slopes down to mattress height. Both my partner and I have felt like we were falling off the bed because of this. Overall, the mattress is great but I wouldn’t buy one simply because of the way it feels like you’re falling off the mattress when you get onto the outer six inches of the mattress.

Ordered the Plush Pillow Top Queen size. It's very plush, comfortable, and supportive. I don't wake up with hip pain or lower back pain anymore. Price is kinda insane, though -- luckily, it was $600 off when I bought it, plus a $400 Sam's gift card with purchase. It also runs a little hot, although it's advertised as being cool, hence the 4 stars instead of 5.

I have been of fan of Beautyrest since my first mattress. When I decided to replace my existing mattress, I did not hesitate to stay with the Beautyrest brand. I found the best comfortable and supportive mattress for me; I feel it conform to my body contours with a comfortable support. It has taken me very little time to get used to this mattress. I don't regret this purchase - it is well worth the price!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this mattress it’s so soft it’s a luxurious pillow top mattress and it’s so big! I’m obsessed with how comfortable it is!!! It’s a black mattress and has handles on the side to move the bed. It’s so comfortable to sleep in. I been sleeping so good since I got it! It’s the best mattress I’ve ever slept on and my partner doesn’t fill me getting up and out the bed ever time I get up. It’s very durable and gives me a lot of support!

Had a great first night sleep. Also purchased Sleepy's Elite adjustable frame. Control is an electronic pad. Jury is still out on the control. Certainly didn't need another electronic device and I can't operate it in the middle of the night with my eye closed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think the Beautyrest Black mattress is a beautifully made high quality mattress. The medium support mattress is designed to have just the right amount of pressure relief. The top feels very soft and plush. However, in my experience even though it’s medium support with a soft feeling top, it still feels a bit too firm for me while I sleep. I usually sleep on a mattress with a pillowtop so I’m probably used to the extra plushness. The top also has large indentations that are too wide and deep. When I’m moving around I can feel the indentations with my feet. It’s kind of annoying. Maybe it’s just me. Otherwise it is a very nice, quality mattress. I think this mattress would be perfect for someone that wants medium support but doesn’t require the extra plushness on top.

It is awesome to own a mattress that when you’re sleeping you can’t feel your partner move. We get a very peaceful sleep because this mattress does not make you hot. Which leads me to believe there’s some kind of temperature control! We absolutely love it!!! Go get you one and you won’t regret it!

I did not wake up hurting from my hips like I’ve done before with other beds. It’s a beautiful black mattress and would help hide stains. It is a great value for the price of the mattress!

If you use box spring , it will be a little bit tall. Really comfy to sleep on- doesn’t sink down and cause back pain like other mattress. Plan to buy one more for my son bed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product from Influenster in exchange for my honest review. Let’s start with the most important thing: comfort. This mattress is very very comfortable when you’re first laying on it. It has a pretty thick pillow top for extra comfort. However, I do find myself sinking into the mattress quite a bit and once I am sunk in far enough, I begin to feel uncomfortable and like the bed is way too hard/firm. This mattress is supposed to be “medium” firmness and I agree that it probably would be once it was broken in and used for a couple of years. However, it is too firm for me and my boyfriend. We ended up putting an additional memory foam topper on it and now it seems to be pretty perfect for comfort! The biggest downfall of this mattress is how HEAVY it is. This is the heaviest mattress I’ve ever lifted. It was really tough to get in onto the bed frame even with my boyfriends help. I know mattresses get heavier with time as well since they collect dead skin cells and whatever else. This worries me for how heavy this mattress will be in a few years! I move a lot so it could potentially be an issue for that. However, the weight of this mattress proves to me how high quality and nice it is. I love that this mattress is black! Great for hiding dirt/moisture spots that inevitably happen over time. However, could be deceiving in the future if something does soak through the mattress and I can’t figure out where the stain is or if the stain has been removed or not. I suppose I will cross that bridge when I get there. The only other downfall of this mattress is that it’s very thick and high up. Luckily this isn’t an issue for me and my boyfriend because we are young and healthy. This would be an incredibly hard mattress to use if you had any sort of physical limitation or are of old age/lack height. When using this mattress with nothing on it but a fitted sheet, we did feel like it kept us cool and had great temperature control. Now that we have all of our other sheets and blankets and pads on the bed, that temperature control isn’t as good as it used to be. This mattress is incredibly expensive to purchase. I do think it’s worth the price if you are okay with the disadvantages mentioned above. It is incredibly durable, well-made, and supportive. I have a feeling I’ll have this mattress for years and years and years to come and it won’t do me wrong. Overall, I would recommend this mattress.
