Foundation took less than hour to put together. Recommended using the thickest plywood measuring at least 1 inch or more in order to have shed at least 5" above groundl evel.. Purchased for Lifetime 8 x 8 shed to allow 2 feet for door swing.

The foundation fits great, but you have to buy osb board (sub floor) to put on top of it, which is another 60 -75 bucks out of your pocket before you can have a finished product.

Worked like it says. Did buy different screws as someone mentions in one of the reviews. Very heavy to move into place but easy with 2-3 people. Used OSB board for the sun floor

This kit arrived early and was so easy to assemble and level - done in a short afternoon. I have since installed my shed on the foundation and am very pleased with the item.

Bought this foundation and the 10x8 shed from Sam's Club. While the foundation was not too difficult to put together, I did what others have suggested and used some self-tapping screws I had on hand which I think made it easier. We built in our garage and two of us were easily able to move it to the back yard. Make sure you know that on the box it says the use of OSB is REQUIRED, which I did not see on Sam's site before purchase. So add about $100 to the cost. Once everything was in place and the OSB installed it is incredibly solid. Make sure to pay attention to the instructions in the back for installing the tape before installing the shed floor. Nowhere in the shed instructions does it mention this. Also see my review of the 10x8 Lifetime shed.

The kit came with good directions. It was missing 2 long side flashings that had to be shipped. Delayed building by a week but they finally got to my house.

Flimsy, bad screws. Poor instructions. Expensive sheeting not included. Poor assembly. Did not meet expectations

Absolutely INFURIATED with this absolute waste of money. At no point ANYWHERE in the description does it mention that you need to put plywood or OSB board on top of the metal frame and below the shed. Well living in Charleston, South Carolina, the point of this base for me was to completely avoid a wood base because of termites. Now, here I am LOADING 6 inch deep channels throughout the entire 8foot by 10foot base with blocks and rocks so I can actually walk across this thing. Had I known this MINOR (sarcasm) detail, I would have just bought 2x4s, framed out the area, and filled it with cement for $400 instead of the $1000 I’m currently into this godawful piece of junk. Thanks a lot Lifetime and Sam’s Club.

I hired someone to install my shed on this but he couldn’t do it because of a manufacturer defect. He showed me the part and the drawing in the installation booklet of where the holes were supposed to be drilled but that’s not where they were. Consequently, he had to jerry rig a base using concrete blocks and wood. I works but it looks bad and I had to pay $900 for the installation on top of the $1600 cost of the shed and the almost $500 for this base. What a waste of money. I’m was so looking forward to getting this done but now it bothers me every time I look at it and I have a worthless $500 base sitting in my yard.
