Large can sells for a sizable discount. Froze about half in 2 cup glass containers, while eating the other half over a 5 day period. Thawing and heating the frozen content tasted as good as the first half. Had forgotten how much I really enjoyed Hominy, especially with a little butter and salt.

I only bought this product for the can. I emptied the can and made floral vases for a Fiesta-themed birthday party.

It needs to be flavored to taste by adding more chile, garlic or onions and boil. The meat is cut too big and looks sloppy.

the only problem is this can is enormous. Restaurant size my husband shouldn't shop without his reading glasses
