I grew up on a farm where we ate pork regularly, and even today I enjoy eating it more than most (I also enjoy an occasional glass of Jack Daniel's Whiskey). However, I was extremely disappointed in this dish. While the pulled pork looks to be good quality and is relatively lean, it is absolutely overpowered in a far-too-sweet and not-very-tasty sauce which in no way reminds me of the flavor of the whiskey. I will not buy it again.

We have enjoyed this the last couple years, but I have been noticing the past several purchases a slow progression toward less meat and more sauce. Today we opened up the package and both bags were basically just full of sauce with some chunks of meat floating in it. We used to get four nice-size sandwiches per bag, but tonight we got 2.5. This is very disappointing as we have loved the product, but now it is no longer worth it.

This is not a good buy. I tried three times over three months to see if I just got a poor quality batch and to make sure it wasn't consistently poor quality. But no....you're paying for the name only. 70% grizzle and fat...15% liquid and 15% actual pork. Never again!

Reviews caused me to try this for company; 6 people in all. They just picked at it eating very little of it. It didn't smell good and didn't taste good. I bought 2 lousy packages, and now I'm stuck with trying to either eat it or throw it away. Never again! Gave it 2 stars bc there was a lot of meat & bbq sauce. Knocked 3 stars off bc of the yuck taste.

I bought this last week and we had it for dinner last night. My husband and I both agreed it wasn't good at all. It had a lot of sauce and very little pulled pork. The pulled pork in it was so shredded it was mushy and not like the pulled pork picture on the box. We were very disappointed and would definitely not recommend it.

the meat says what is BBQ and I thought the sauce came separately but in reality the meat is already prepared with the sauce and when you taste it it is too sweet to be BBQ, if you are not one of the people who likes a lot of sweet, I do not recommend it

I purchased this item on Oct 18th, at Sams club in Columbus, OhioI had to make two trips to purchase this item. The item was 13.98. I wanted the 3 lb but they only had the 4 lb. It has a nice taste and I would purchase to take to a pot luck but not for a cookout at my home I would purchase another brand that my family likes.Price was right , as I said taste was good and portions good for sliders.

We hosted an anniversary party for my in-laws. We served this pulled pork with baked beans, potato salad, and garden salad all from Sam's. I bought 6 of these packs anticipating 60 people. We had 45 people show and we didn't have much for leftovers. Many went back for seconds because they thought the meat was so good!

I bought a package of this to make tacos with for Cinco de Mayo. My teenage son came home from school with a friend and they immediately ate four tacos each! Two hours later, I had to make the second package so they could eat another round of tacos before dinner! These were so good, the two boys ate the entire 3 lbs. of pulled pork within two hours! I will be buying this again very soon, but I will most likely need to buy two or three packages!

The problem with these reviews is the old ones upvoted are not accurate now. They changed the packaging, It's true there is two and not three anymore. People are complaining of sweet. I agree. And salty too. Only a very thin layer of the meat soup was placed on the bun or else it felt like eating straight concentrated bbq. There's meat unlike what people say but only a few chunks. Most of it was shredded little pieces. It's not awful. Reminds me of bao meat filling. The white bun that's all bread and a tiny bit of very salty sweet meat. Edible but, far from the best.
