The last time we purchase this, two of the three sealed vacuum packs had some kind of chemical reaction within the sealed packs. In both of them, there was a white layer on top of the meat. Also, a bigger issue, the air kept increasing inside the sealed packs making the packs bulge to 2 to 3 times the normal size. This is most times a sign that bacteria is growing inside the vacuum pack. we open one of the two packs and there was a very bad "off" smell. Needless to say, we discarded both packs - it definitely wasn't worth getting sick from it. we can't afford to be throwing expensive meats away, but we had no choice, we had to be safe.

I bought two 48 ounce packages a few days ago. More than half of the entire contents were fist sized chunks of fat and gristle; inedible and disgusting. Would had returned it to the store, but had already discarded the packaging. We have used this product several times in the past, but never again!!
