How they call this product pulled pork I will never know……. It was 90% barbecue sauce with chunks of fat and tiny tidbits of pork meat……. Will not be purchasing Jack Daniels pulled pork again…..

Too sweet even using buns as sandwich. Unfortunate that it is a large quantity; I ended up throwing it away. Maybe adding salt or seasoning will help. I like to have Big Red soda with BBQ but there was just no preparating my stomach for the combination of sugar.

I just picked up this product from Sam's Club and I am extremely pleased with the taste, and texture. There was little to no preparation required. I simply put it in the oven and before you knew it, the pork was unthawed and ready for dinner. The pulled pork tasted like it was homemade. It was not dry nor tough to chew. It had a delicious flavoring that had me wanting more and more. I placed the pork inside of Hawaiian sweet rolls and boy was it good. I also served baked beans to complete the meal. My family was steadily asking for more.

We frequently have purchased Jack Daniel's pulled pork at Sam's Club and it has been good, but it has changed. The 3 pound package we bought last week was terrible. The meat was like mush. There was not one piece of meat large enough to chew, no texture of smoked meat at all, just mush. It looked and tasted like it has been cooked and then put through a food processor. I opened the second and third pouches hoping to find something better, but those pouches were exactly like the first one. I will not waste my money on this product again. I will go back to smoking a pork butt on the Cajun Cooker.

I started buying this product about 4 months ago and I am very pleased. The BBQ pork and sauce has a nice tangy smoked taste. I have these about every other week and they make a nice lunch or dinner with a side of potato or macaroni salad. The product comes in a 3 lb. container with (3) individual one lb. packages which makes about 8 hearty sandwiches on a soft bun. I have tried the other brands but no comparison.

The three individual one-pound bags make it easy to warm up as much or as little as you'd like. Because the bags are vacuum-sealed, just freeze what you don't need and save it for another day. Our BBQ-loving friends were shocked to learn it was from a bag the first time they ate it. Now, we don't go camping without some of this in our cooler.

The quality of the meat seems alright. Picked out a few fatty chunks. I think for me, it's the sauce. It is fairly sweet. Lots of pepper in it. I just don't like the sauce. I do love the sweetness. It is everything else to do with it. CONVENIENTLY packaged in 3 separate pouches. 1lb each. I love that feature, so you can open only the amount needed.
