Bought as Christmas gift , my kids go to music festivals in the summer this is perfect for them to use camping

Very good price that’s why we bought it but I have not try it . The item is not heavy easy to carry.

Way louder the 58 db . I was getting 79 at idle, 86 running . the idle lock was not good enough for an inverter since it was surging more than it can to run most things. it would burn electronics up ., Returning

Starts easy and runs quiet. That's the only thing good about this generator. It's SUPPOSED to be 2300 Watts starting and 1800 Watts running. Nope, not even close. It has automatic overload protection that shuts off the inverter when there is too much electricity being pulled (engine continues to run). I tried running a 1500 Watt concrete vibrator and it tripped the overload protection every few seconds. Ugh. Tried running a 1200 Watt drill and it tripped the overload protection as soon as I pulled the trigger. Finally, I tried an air compressor at 1000 Watts and guess what? Tripped the overload protection at 1000 Watts. Yes, I'm certain of the wattage as there is a meter on the front telling how many Watts are being drawn PLUS I know the rating of the equipment I am trying to run. The only thing I could actually run and stay operating is an LED light. This thing is completely worthless for anything but a boat anchor.
