Friendly user and reliable 😊

I purchased my unit a few years prior, so there are a few exterior differences to the current model. Has sat in storage as a standby gen-set and only made occasional run ups......until the recent severe storms that knocked out power all weekend in my area. This unit saved my bacon, literally- keeping the fridge & deep freeze going until the grid was restored. When first bought, I was rather impressed by how all of the extras were included with the unit, as opposed to the competing brands that would gladly sell you those things as 'optional'. Great features and value for the price. May be a very small bit more noisy then the big name competition generators of the same class, but for the price this is a equitable trade off. All around a solid investment.

You can't beat this for the price. I bought 2 this year for our hurricane parties. One ran 2 refrigerators and a Tv. The other ran an 8000 btw portable ac 4 fans and a handful of lights. run on eco mode I filled them up twice a day and ran for 5 days straight for both hurricanes.

Great Little Generator. I was able to power my fridge and my laptop with 2 monitors and lights. Very efficient 0.9Gal in 9 hours with all my load about 400-600W. We had no power for 7 days after Milton.I used about 2 gallons a day 18 hours runtime with 6 hours off at night. Spend 14gal of gas from one of my cars.

Thought maybe I got a lemon. When I opened the box & removed a few cover to look it over & add oil I found the spark plug was broken. Also a gasket on the panel around the exhaust was installed wrong. But so far so good after replacing plug & fixing gasket. Only have about an hour on it, but seems to be good. I was surprised it ran a 10000 btu portable a/c unit. No problem.

This is a nice little generator, set-up and operation was very intuitive. I started it up, everything functioned, it was fairly quiet. Access to the engine is through a removable side panel, the carburetor bowl has a drain screw, hose, and drain pan to remove excess fuel for long-term storage. Also has a telescoping handle and wheels to move it around, it’s about the size of a carry-on suitcase. Nicely designed unit.

The generator works well after initial troubles with a fuel leak. I took it out of the box and added oil per instructions. I then added about 1/2 gal of gas and followed the instructions to start. When I turned the dial to "On", fuel started to flow out of the bottom. I turn the dial back to off the fuel flow stopped. I called the 800 help desk number and was told that the carburetor drain screw may be loose. I removed the air filter cover and located the screw, I tried tightening the screw and it did the same thing when turning the dial to on. I then removed the air filter assembly, located the clear drain tubes which there are two. One is connected to the drain screw and one is connected to the carburetor overflow. In my case the fuel was coming from the clear drain tube on the right which is the overflow tube. I then removed the fuel line from the carburetor and plugged the fuel line to stop the flow. I then drained the bowl by loosening the drain screw. I then removed the carburetor bowl to check to see if the float was stuck. I worked the float up and down to insure it wasn't stuck. I reinstalled the bowl and fuel line, replaced the air filter assembly and it started on the first pull with no fuel leak. The float must have been stuck open. I gave it 4 stars because I shouldn't have had to repair a brand new generator. Other than that it works great.

I bought thhis generator because texas is texas. I got it home after spending a good amount. Ot looked great and like it would be a good purchase for me. When i got it home and opened the box it was not an easy deal. I called the manufacturer and was told it is confusing so he attempted to talk me through unscrewing all panels and handle then he told me to.hold on because he was a little lost. I told him you knownwhat indont want tonsteip any screws or damage it and i dont want to take all panels off of the generator and i would just return it

I ordered this unit on sale for $280. Sam's confirmed the order, then a day later cancelled it due to being out of stock. I immediately went online to order it again to find out that it wasn't out of stock, but the price increased to $399. I placed the order anyway and was given a delivery date of August 2. The next day the delivery date was changed to August 3. Then the delivery date was changed again to August 9. This was not in time to fit my needs so I cancelled the order. Sam's WOULD NOT/DID NOT cancel the order and the unit got delivered at a time when no one would be home to receive it for 15 days, so it would sit on the front porch for a possible theft to happen. P.S. Sam's was notified on 6 occasions to cancel this order starting on August 3 via SAM'S CHAT AND PHONE CALLS.
