After reading the reviews, I assumed there would be no problems, bought in the morning went camping and the unit would not stay on. Eventually just re-boxed item with the plan to return ASAP, we have a large generator and has worked with no issues but is westinghouse brand

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. This generator, while heavy is light for a generator. The unit is wheeled and has a telescoping handle for easy transport. I love that this unit includes multiple types of plugs including a USB C. I wish there were two of the typical 120V plugs instead of just 1. This is such a handy item to have for tailgating and camping for hot plates, crock pots, and so much more and the fact that it is so much more quiet than other generators is a huge plus!

I live in a hurricane prone area, which also has a very fragile electric grid so every now and then when a power outage occurs, I use this unit to keep my refrigerator running while allowing my family to watch TV. I find the 1800W running capacity more than enough for my needs. If you give proper maintenance to this unit, they might last a long time. I recommend reading both the manual for this unit as well as the Yamaha version, as it has additional maintenance items to check.

I live in N. Florida and purchased this unit during Hurricane power outages. I really hated the larger units because of their noise. This unit is quiet and will run for more than 8 hours on gas fill up supplying power to Fan, C-Pap Machine and TV. During day it ran my refrigerator and keep my freezer cold.
