Love that trimmer comes with lifetime replacement string. Too bad the smaller trimmers were all "Sold Out". That would probably have worked out better.

So, I grudgingly bought this Power Share 13" Cordless String Trimmer out of necessity. Oh My Gosh. This item was so easy to put together, and was actually FUN to use! The adjustments that you can make with this item allows people of all heights to use. The Automatic String Advance button also made this convenient to just keep on going! I can see now, why I am getting attached to these Worx products!!

I can weed eat and switch the battery to my blower to clean drive and still have a little power to spare. Great purchase!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It take a little to get use to the length and weight to it, but once you are going it works great...the edger needs a little more to be desired. I am only saying this as a heads up it's lenth with it's weight may be a little more challenging for some. They do as I found out after the purchase provide a trimmer that is adjustable. That would of been a first choice.

I have used a gas trimmer for 30 years and always struggled with getting it started. I purchased a Worx electric blower and was very happy with it. I then decided to try the Worx trimmer. No idea why I waited so long. Love every feature about this tool. Trims every area I have so well. Hoping to eventually have all Worx tools.

I have the WG184. If you are short (I'm 5 ft 6 inches), this is not for you. It's way too long and a little heavy (I had to use a shoulder strap from one of my bags). Also, batteries run hot so are not chargeable until they cool down (charger light is red so won't charge). Motor may be too strong for the .08 line as it always breaks and the feeder doesn't work all the time. The way it works is the motor stops spinning and before it completely stops, it feeds line out of the spool. It doesn't always work. Wheel for edging elevates the motor too high so little hard to balance and edge the grass nicely. And since the motor sits high above the ground, the line needs to be at maxed out distance where the blade cuts it. With the feeding mechanism not always working, this makes edging the grass a pain in the axx. Overall everything works but just not that well. It does have power. Going back to my Black & Decker which isn't as powerful but it works well. Batteries are old so needed to buy new batteries so instead I bought the Worx at Sam's Club. I also have the 3 tool Worx combo (blower, trimmer/edger, hedge trimmer). Hedge trimmer works well (buttons layout could be better), trimmer/edger light as my old B & D but has the same issue as the WG184 with the wheel elevating the motor too high from the ground, The blower is awesome but the on/off switch is a dial so hard to switch on and off. Overall having the Worx tools for about 2 years and the B&D about 10 years, I like the B & D much, much better. Also I had to replace the WG184 under warranty because there was something wrong with connections of the poles that the thing would not power up (maybe the contacts were bad). There is power as the green lights on the batteries are lit but the motor just won't turn on. This is my first experience with Worx products and probably my last.

It’s a nice weed eater. The last one I bought came with a life time supply of string, I was disappointed this one did not. I was also disappointed that the 2 20v batteries are different from the 20v battery that goes in the portable power sprayer I just bought too so they are not interchangeable.... so if I had to buy replacement battery’s it would cost more because they are not interchangeable. I found it awkward to handle and operate as the head guard needs to be adjusted often for the terrain. Otherwise it’s an ok weeder and will fit my needs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sturdy well built trimmer. Easy to handle and I especially like the .80 gauge trimmer line. I've been adding more Worx tools to my shop and this is a real nice edition. I would recommend this 40 volt trimmer to any yards-man or lady. My wife handles it with ease.

Weed wacker is VERY heavy and difficult to use due to the weight. Getting the line to extend is almost impossible. I would not recommend using this item if the weight might be a problem for you as it is for me or unless you can handle having to stop the unit and pull the line out by hand each and every time necessary.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It got here very quickly, even through Covid shut downs. Assembly was a breeze and we used it as soon as the batteries had full charge. It has many great options for multi use and the string mechanism is excellent. The power is excellent and it lasted an entire hour going around two homes, a long fence and many trees. This is an upgrade from the one battery 20V worx that we purchased 5 years ago. It was phenomenal, but needed a new battery and for the cost, we decided to just upgrade to a new one. As of now, this seems to be an amazing weed eater. This review is based off of two uses and owning less than 3 weeks.
