[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This trimmer performs as well if not better than my gas trimmer. With more features, it is making the gas trimmer obsolete. Allows for sharp edging, trimming around obstacles and high grass at the lawns edge. Surprisingly quiet and feather light. Good battery run time and can use 20v 40ah batteries as well for extended run time. All around excellent product.

I have used this once or twice to this point. The 40 v PowerShare is powerful enough to do the tard, although I have not tried all at one time. The head is adjustable to stay level with the ground and easy change between edging and walking. My biggest disappointment is the line release. I have not read the directions, but this is not bottom tap. I find myself constantly stopping and restarting to release line.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this a little over a month ago and was finally able to use it the other day. It has been to hot to work in the yard. Does an excellent job of trimming the grass and weeds. I had another one that would only hole the charge for about a half hour. I spent over an hour trimming and still had charge left. Great purchase and really please.

I’ve owned the WG184 for just over a year now. Probably used it a total of 10 times. Overall I’ve been pleased with its functionality, strength, and ability to trim and edge my lawn. The battery lasts about long enough for me to do the job. It’s also much easier to use than other gas and corded trimmers I’ve owned. I liked it so much that this year I bought the cordless blower which also works great. My only complaint is that the string cover has already broken. I would think this would last longer as I’ve never had to replace this part with other string trimmers I’ve owned. I’m not sure if this part is covered under warranty but you may want to look at having them made out of a more durable material.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this trimmer 4 weeks ago, and it’s the best trimmer I’ve ever owned! I’ve had 5 different model trimmer-edgers in the last 15 years. They all were so so at best. String breaking, cords tangling, no power, and debris flying everywhere. This is the first cordless trimmer I’ve owned. Plenty of power, speed control, light weight, comfortable to handle. It has a wider guard that keeps most of the debris from flying onto you. I have a little over 1/4 acre lot, and it has plenty of battery life. It also does a great job at edging. The best trimmer ever!

I bought this to replace the first weedeater I purchased from Worx. This unit does a great job, and with 2 batteries, it last longer, allowing you to get more trimming done. The only bad point I have about it is the weight. As a senior citizen, it wears me out handling the unit. What would help us seniors is a strap that you could attach that would go around your neck or over 1 shoulder to help support some of the weight!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had a 32V worx blower, their drill and a Sawzall. Been happy with all but the battery on this thing died and will not charge after only a few uses. I might have used it 4 times and its dead. The charger says its "green" but the battery itself when hitting the red button to check power says only one bar. Lasts less than 30 seconds and its dead again. Will be looking into getting a replacement and if that happens with better luck I'll update my review.

Ive had this for 3 years and am fed up. I like the Worx tools concept of one size battery for all my different tools. I origanally purchased the 20v string trimmer but found it went through a whole roll of string while doing my medium sized yard and I hoped the larger 40v 0.080 size string would do better but this trimmer cant go 6 feet without the string breaking off inside the trim head and I have to take the cover off and pull out a new length of string which ads a good 15 minutes to my trimming time and is very frustrating! I would not recommend this trimmer.

I was complaining to her how the trimmer I was using was useless. I bought this Worx trimmer, even though I had the other, which is unlike me. The Worx trimmer was VERY EASY to assemble and once charged, i was out the door, using it immediately. I aim very satisfied with this product. I have a WORX leaf blower which I am equally satisfied with.

I'm so glad that I purchased this trimmer. This is the 3rd Cordless Trimmer that I've purchased within 3 weeks to replace my old gas trimmer that died. I did a lot of research as it was important to find a lightweight cordless trimmer that I, as a woman, can easily maneuver especially after having undergone 4 lower back surgeries. This trimmer was super easy to assemble. I was concerned at 1st thinking the 2 batteries might add too much weight to the trimmer and I'm glad to say that I was wrong. It wasn't too heavy nor did I feel the need for a shoulder strap. It is very easy to handle and has an enormous amount of power that you control with the adjustable trigger. Even using low power this trimmer did a great job clearing brush/grass and the batteries lasted a long time before it was time to recharge. The engine is quiet and it's very easy to advance the line. I have a large yard a portion of which is very hilly which is hard to reach with my lawn mower but this little gadget made the job a breeze. I let my dad try it today and now he just ordered the exact same trimmer for his property. I highly recommend this trimmer.
