Looked good on paper, real world usage not so good. There is a 2-3 second delay after pressing start. Same thing when feeding the line. My previous Worx trimmer ran instantly as soon as I pressed start and was half the price. Very disappointed in this model. I cannot return due to it being purchased over the winter and just being able to use it now since its summer. I DONT recommend this model. Not sure how it got so many 5 star reviews. NOTE: Worx is my choice of lawn equipment, but this may change that in the next purchases.

I have been using Worx trimmer/edgers since the very first model came out and this unit is flat out a beast compared to all the others before it !! This model unit just glides thru everything I put it into, I can't believe how now I can finish my entire yard on just one charge, the dual battery power makes all the difference in the final appearance as it has the power to get it done. Edging is now much easier because of the extra power it has.

I have a fairly mid sized yard and the two fully charged batteries died on my before I was finished my job. This was only my second time using the trimmer and everything worked ok the first time. Another problem is that the shaft is to long for a short person. I'm a 68 year old female and even with adjusting the handle it was still a little bottom heavy. As for the performance of the trimmer, it was outstanding. On command line feed was great and it did a great job.

I bought this trimmer to replace a less expensive and very old battery operated trimmer that broke. This one is FAR better. It has a lot more power so even gets in between rabbit wire and the fence behind it to cut grass overgrowth. Edging works great too.

When your 78 year old dad raves about a weed eater and a company that gives you free spools of line for life you better listen. I wasn’t disappointed, plenty of power, not too heavy, good battery life, and no more fighting with reloading line that seems to run out too quick.

I recently ordered 2 new spools of trimmer string but I haven’t received them! It’s been a while I hope they get delivered!!! I’m enjoy yard work!!! I’m getting worried they may have gotten lost in the mail!!! Don’t matter though, I love it and will reorder if I have to!!! Thanks worxs!!!

I’ve owned the WG184 for just over a year now. Probably used it a total of 10 times. Overall I’ve been pleased with its functionality, strength, and ability to trim and edge my lawn. The battery lasts about long enough for me to do the job. It’s also much easier to use than other gas and corded trimmers I’ve owned. I liked it so much that this year I bought the cordless blower which also works great. My only complaint is that the string cover has already broken. I would think this would last longer as I’ve never had to replace this part with other string trimmers I’ve owned. I’m not sure if this part is covered under warranty but you may want to look at having them made out of a more durable material.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used mine for the first time today and it works great. I trimmed every thing I ever have to trim and the 2ah batteries still had a 1/3 charge. I probably used it for 30 minutes on grass and weeds, nothing heavy or thick. It works great for my intended purpose.

This weed eater/edger is so easy to use. The weight is nicely balanced and the arm can be adjusted to fit different heights. It has so much more power and cutting ability than I hoped for so I was able to go through some tall, thick-stemmed weeds. Having one tool to do cutting and edging is a bonus.
