This trimmer is great so far. I've only had it for a short time and used it twice. I'm female and 62 years old and I can use this trimmer with no problems. At first it bothered my arms, but then I adjusted the handle and then I had no problems. The batteries pop in & out very easily into both the Trimmer and the Battery Charger. I really like this Trimmer so far.

I bought this after owning the 20v. Love the power, but being a 71 year old woman about 5ft 2 it is too long for me. It does not adjust. I wish you would make a 40 v like the adjustable 20v revolution. I would buy one! I love your products but was disappointed in this product.

Trimmer works well but today I encountered a safety issue. When using as an edger if you push the button to extend the line the line that is cutoff will be among directly at your face. The motor rotates toward your body and the cutoff blade is at the top of the guard. The line that was cut off hit my lip and jaw creating a deep 1” long cut. This design wasnt thought through very well. Seems like if the motor rotated the opposite way with the cutoff on the other side of the guard it would be safer. Or change the angle of the cutoff point so it’s not aimed at the users head.

Weed wacker is VERY heavy and difficult to use due to the weight. Getting the line to extend is almost impossible. I would not recommend using this item if the weight might be a problem for you as it is for me or unless you can handle having to stop the unit and pull the line out by hand each and every time necessary.

This is not a weed trimmer, it's a weed pulverizer!! I have a hillside home in wildfire country so being able to keep up the maintenance of the lower yard that is too steep for a lawnmower is normally an exhausting task. With this 40v weed destroyer, it takes half the time it used to and I find it rather enjoyable to watch it shred the weeds to smithereens in in an instant. I also like the longer shaft as I am always keeping my eyes peeled for western diamond back rattle snakes and feel this keeps me safer with the longer reach. I am very pleased the line does not get bound up on anything! I also like the smart sense features as it won't run if the cap isn't secure. It's well balanced so it's easy to swing and I'm not exhausted doing the tasks that I used to dread. I'm completely impressed with the way it cuts even thick stemmed weeds. The batteries last for about 20 minutes at full charge, so I bought a 2nd set. My only complaint is some of us need to use this in place of a mower on hillsides and it would be wonderful if the batteries lasted about 35 minutes instead of about 20. I encourage anyone to definitely dress appropriately with thick jeans and solid shoes and wear safety glasses as the power and speed will throw random stones or pine cones with amazing force. I'm love the WORX products! They last long and work well!

I jumped on the Worx bandwagon a couple years ago and had been very happy as I have happily purchased additional power share tools. This product in weight is closer to my gas weed trimmer model and is designed for a tall person. So, it sites and feels awkwardly balanced when carrying and in use. My gas model is much more balanced in use and comfortable to use. It also did not come with a shoulder strap. I used a shoulder strap I had, and this trimmer having an unbalanced carrying position became very apparent. I wanted a quick powerful start and go trimmer and decided to stick with a Worx.powershare product line and did not check any reviews. I wish I had. The other battery model to consider the WG 183 spec shows it to be lighter but did not support the .80 diameter line I need. This model even with the weight would have been more acceptable if it were not so unbalanced. What happens is my right arm is constantly forcing the control end down to bring the heavy trimmer head to the needed cutting height. You cannot adjust the handle enough to compensate. This is because the handle cannot be adjusted further down the shaft. The balance is the major issue. Although its weight is very prohibitive even when batteries are not installed. There is also no bush attachment available for the Spring growth cutback

It’s a nice weed eater. The last one I bought came with a life time supply of string, I was disappointed this one did not. I was also disappointed that the 2 20v batteries are different from the 20v battery that goes in the portable power sprayer I just bought too so they are not interchangeable.... so if I had to buy replacement battery’s it would cost more because they are not interchangeable. I found it awkward to handle and operate as the head guard needs to be adjusted often for the terrain. Otherwise it’s an ok weeder and will fit my needs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this for the fact that it can be two tools in one, I was very reluctant about the purchase. From the first time I used it I have liked it more every time I get it out. It far exceeds all expectations. I now look forward to purchase more worx products.

I was happy with my old Worx trimmer until adjustable bracketing part no longer worked. It was very light and easy to work. New one is heavier but way more powerful. I've used it twice now and really like it. Batteries recharge quickly. Hoping the adjustable bracketing part stays healthy.

It took me awhile to choose a new weedeater. I tried to research several brands. It seemed to have good reviews. It is the best decision I made. It works great. I'm very pleased with it. I have shoulder problems and others have caused alot of pain. This one doesn't. Its lightweight. I love that it has the wheels for edging, cause I have a good bit of edging to do. Over all, I love it.
