I bought the 2x20V cordless string trimmer recently and am happy I did. It was the perfect upgrade for a man over six feet. I still have my 20V Worx cordless trimmer but this one has a longer shaft, which makes it easier on my back, no bending over, and the 40V of power tears through grass. In summary the longer shaft, 40V power, the upgraded quick charger for both max batteries is a welcomed addition to the rest of my Worx 20V tools.

Just a year and I am looking for my receipt since before a year to either return or see what to do with this trimmer. To start the feed line never worked except for the first time I used it. It is so long that I cannot check if the line button does anything when I press it. So had to do it manually. Then the batteries discharge in less than half hour, so I have to wait until I charge them again! And I have a very small yard because there is so much shade that grass/weeds barely exist. And still cannot finish on one pass. Now the cap for the spool broke! Wow and I was trying to contact worx before one year to see what they could do about the feed line and the batteries. Now the spool cap to add. I had a homelite cheap electric trimmer for DECADES, and still works but I was tired of having the electric cord tangle on everything so I decided to get this and boy, I am so disappointed. Not even one year!!!

This is the best tool I've ever used to trim the lawn. With just a touch of the button you can rotate it to do edging. With the wheel options it is super easy to use. I would recommend this tool to anyone instead of dealing with the messy gas and oil mix or even dragging around a cord. I know whoever buys it would not be sorry!

I have ALOT of WORX products. But this by far is the one I love. I started with the reg small edger and when I brought this I could not believe how great it was. I have been using WORX tools, trimmers, drills etc for a long time and never look at anything else. They all do what they say they do and more..... I almost forgot,,, A few months back I brought there work table. It is FANTASTIC. If this is your first edger. I would have to say to get the 40v power share 13inch. It cant be beat. One last thing. I had a problem with one trimmer. I think it might have been my fault. I called and they said .. NO problem. And sent out a new one. NO charge. There customer service is one of the best.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just bought this trimmer to replace my old Worx trimmer - had the old one for years, then I picked up a plastic grocery bag in the head and couldn't get it all out. So I needed a new trimmer. The old one was also a 40 volt (only 1 battery though) - thus I liked that this one was also 40 volts. This trimmer allows more speed control which I like, and I also like the auto feed button. The batteries in this last pretty much the same time as my old trimmer. I like that I can use this one as an edger, too - something I was limited on with my old trimmer. Overall, I like the new trimmer better - more versatile. The ONLY feature my old trimmer had that I wish this one had is a "guide" that allowed me to butt it up against whatever I am trimming around and the line still cut up to that object - to me this saves line and I really miss that feature (I'll live).

The best part of the trimmer is the battery operation and they last pretty long time for a residential lot. I do not know if the auto string button actually works or not. I usually find myself flipping the trimmer over and pushing the orange button and pulling more green string out. The shaft is not adjustable and I find keeping the trimmer parallel with the ground to be difficult. The edging part seems cumbersome to use and is hard to judge. The string is either too long or too short. If I had a do over, perhaps a different model or a Toro might have been a better choice.

Works well like the heavier line for edging.what I don’t like is you can’t shorten length like my 20v it’s too long. The other issue is it doesn’t have the turn and lock/unlock feature like my 20v. These 2 issues had I been aware of would have made me choose another. The 40v allows for more trimming time

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far I am very impressed I have a big yard with a big embankment that I cannot know with a lawn mower safely. I find that it does a very nice job batteries last a long time. I love not having to mess with gas. The string last a very long time I find that I don't have to feed the line much at all. I love that the handle swivels two other positions which makes it very handy when trying to weed eat the hill. Would definitely buy again already looking at other tools to add to my Arsenal

This little workhorse does a great job. The battery lasted much longer than I expected. It never lost power. I love the string release button (no more banging on the ground to get string). There was a bit of a learning curve (my own fault) as far as what all it could do and how to put the wheel on.
