(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) First day I used it was one of the best electric trimmers I have used (compared to Dewalt and Ryobi). But it would not work the 2nd day. It just stated shutting off even though I had full batteries. You could keep hitting the trigger and it would start for a bit than shut off again. It worked great for a day at few diffrent locations (2 full battery charges and uses). Now it no longer works at all even with full batteris. I require one daily for edging small walkways at sites with my work so I bought a Dewalt electric trimmer the next day and it is horrible compared to the Worx trimmer. The guard was to small sending grass everywhere, couldn't adjust the height and angle which was hard on my back as I was too tall. But it had a good battery life. That one also quit working for no reason but I am just going to return the Dewalt as the Worx was a clearly better model. Worx has a pretty good warranty and was the better model when it worked. I will update my review with how warranty proccess was handled.

Plenty of power, battery life and dose a great job trimming and edging. I especially like the wheels for making a straight line and ease of use. Seems to be constructed better than my very old 32v. WORX trimmer/edger.

WITH THE WORX , IN THE TIME IT TOOK TO RUN ALL THE AC CORDS FOR MY OLD TRIMMER , I'M DONE. I'M 77 YEARS OLD AND WAS TOO TIRED AFTER DRAGGING OUT ALL THE CORDS, TO RUN THE TRIMMER, MY LOT IS 300 FEET DEEP SO IT WAS A LOT OF DRAGGING. WITH THE WORX I RUN DOWN BEFORE THE BATTERIES. SORRY I WAITED SO LONG TO GET ONE.

I found the WG184 to do everything as advertised. It is light yet sturdy; it is easy to use and string release is a god send; no more fuel or added noise; I have not found a grass trimming situation that it cannot solve. Good buy. I will consider buying other worx products in the future.

I used it for the first time. It works great. The only problem is the automatic feed line does not work. I do like to do yard work and over the years I have bought items from your company and I like them all. My husband has a bad back so it is hard for him to do the yard work that he used to do. Your tools make it easy for me to use and do the yard work he can no longer do.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this product about a month ago as I was tired of messing around with gas to oil ratio mixes with my old string trimmer. This product was so easy to assemble and use. The battery life was able to hold for even the toughest of jobs. Nice materials for easy clean-up and changing the string has not been easier. The versatility and quality craftsmanship of this product will make me be a returning customer for years to come. I love this product and cannot stop bragging about it enough to my friend and family.

Love that trimmer comes with lifetime replacement string. Too bad the smaller trimmers were all "Sold Out". That would probably have worked out better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After a lot of research, I purchased the cordless string trimmer and wheeled edger. Have been more than satisfied with this purchase. The dual function of the tool is amazing and easy to use. Have used it extensively over the last few months, and have created a great looking yard.

I have the WG184. If you are short (I'm 5 ft 6 inches), this is not for you. It's way too long and a little heavy (I had to use a shoulder strap from one of my bags). Also, batteries run hot so are not chargeable until they cool down (charger light is red so won't charge). Motor may be too strong for the .08 line as it always breaks and the feeder doesn't work all the time. The way it works is the motor stops spinning and before it completely stops, it feeds line out of the spool. It doesn't always work. Wheel for edging elevates the motor too high so little hard to balance and edge the grass nicely. And since the motor sits high above the ground, the line needs to be at maxed out distance where the blade cuts it. With the feeding mechanism not always working, this makes edging the grass a pain in the axx. Overall everything works but just not that well. It does have power. Going back to my Black & Decker which isn't as powerful but it works well. Batteries are old so needed to buy new batteries so instead I bought the Worx at Sam's Club. I also have the 3 tool Worx combo (blower, trimmer/edger, hedge trimmer). Hedge trimmer works well (buttons layout could be better), trimmer/edger light as my old B & D but has the same issue as the WG184 with the wheel elevating the motor too high from the ground, The blower is awesome but the on/off switch is a dial so hard to switch on and off. Overall having the Worx tools for about 2 years and the B&D about 10 years, I like the B & D much, much better. Also I had to replace the WG184 under warranty because there was something wrong with connections of the poles that the thing would not power up (maybe the contacts were bad). There is power as the green lights on the batteries are lit but the motor just won't turn on. This is my first experience with Worx products and probably my last.
