Weed wacker is VERY heavy and difficult to use due to the weight. Getting the line to extend is almost impossible. I would not recommend using this item if the weight might be a problem for you as it is for me or unless you can handle having to stop the unit and pull the line out by hand each and every time necessary.

The good - Light weight; easy to assemble, shipping was good, battery life seems good and trimmer is strong. The disappointing - Probably my mistake, but I thought I was ordering the trimmer that can also turn into an edger and I got the "fixed shaft" trimmer that is not designed for edging. I can still use it for that by turning it upside down, but not nearly as good. Most disappointing is the string doesn't feed well. Not my first trimmer, so I know how others have worked. I physically had to stop several time in my first use to manually pull out more line.

I bought this after owning the 20v. Love the power, but being a 71 year old woman about 5ft 2 it is too long for me. It does not adjust. I wish you would make a 40 v like the adjustable 20v revolution. I would buy one! I love your products but was disappointed in this product.

It’s a nice weed eater. The last one I bought came with a life time supply of string, I was disappointed this one did not. I was also disappointed that the 2 20v batteries are different from the 20v battery that goes in the portable power sprayer I just bought too so they are not interchangeable.... so if I had to buy replacement battery’s it would cost more because they are not interchangeable. I found it awkward to handle and operate as the head guard needs to be adjusted often for the terrain. Otherwise it’s an ok weeder and will fit my needs.

He said he had more than enough to finish our double lot with lots of gardens, nooks and plenty of edging needing first of the year attention. The extra length of the handle was an added bonus from the old tool. To please him with the easy use of the trimmer/edger was an added plus. My lawn/gardens look great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used this a few times now and am somewhat disappointed. It doesn't have very much power. Moderately thick grass slows the head down considerably. Constantly have to back off to let the head return to speed before going in again. This leads to a short battery life. 15-20 minutes of run time is as much as I have gotten. The handle placement makes it a bit awkward and unbalanced due to the fact that the shaft coupling prevents you from moving the handle down very far. I do like the push button string feed feature which is very convenient.

I bought this Worx product 10 months ago and have been enjoying it ever since. After my divorce I inherited a gas powered trimmer/edger made by another company. Sometimes it would start and other times it wouldn't. Then a friend recommended me to buy the Worx battery-operated trimmer/edger. What a difference! It starts always (!) and only with a push of a button (!). I actually enjoy yard work now. I have a good-size yard and the battery lasts for the entire work. I liked this product so much that I also replaced my gas blower with Worx battery blower. I would highly recommend the trimmer/edger and the blower by Worx.

Plenty of power, battery life and dose a great job trimming and edging. I especially like the wheels for making a straight line and ease of use. Seems to be constructed better than my very old 32v. WORX trimmer/edger.

Looked good on paper, real world usage not so good. There is a 2-3 second delay after pressing start. Same thing when feeding the line. My previous Worx trimmer ran instantly as soon as I pressed start and was half the price. Very disappointed in this model. I cannot return due to it being purchased over the winter and just being able to use it now since its summer. I DONT recommend this model. Not sure how it got so many 5 star reviews. NOTE: Worx is my choice of lawn equipment, but this may change that in the next purchases.

I recently ordered 2 new spools of trimmer string but I haven’t received them! It’s been a while I hope they get delivered!!! I’m enjoy yard work!!! I’m getting worried they may have gotten lost in the mail!!! Don’t matter though, I love it and will reorder if I have to!!! Thanks worxs!!!
