Just a year and I am looking for my receipt since before a year to either return or see what to do with this trimmer. To start the feed line never worked except for the first time I used it. It is so long that I cannot check if the line button does anything when I press it. So had to do it manually. Then the batteries discharge in less than half hour, so I have to wait until I charge them again! And I have a very small yard because there is so much shade that grass/weeds barely exist. And still cannot finish on one pass. Now the cap for the spool broke! Wow and I was trying to contact worx before one year to see what they could do about the feed line and the batteries. Now the spool cap to add. I had a homelite cheap electric trimmer for DECADES, and still works but I was tired of having the electric cord tangle on everything so I decided to get this and boy, I am so disappointed. Not even one year!!!

I bought this a couple of months ago. Have been trying to use it. Thought it would grow on me. It hasn't! I have been using Worx products for years, first dud. It's very long. Specs say 65". I'm 5'9". Standing it straight up beside me, it's taller than I am by 3 to 4 inches! Evidently Worx doesn't think the shield diameter counts. I have a very small yard, can't get close to the raised beds because of length. It goes through a lot of batteries. Good thing I have 4. Biodegradable "string" is worthless. It melted in use! I cannot air condition the yard!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have bashed this trimmer into the curb, road, and side of the house more times than I'd like to admit and it keeps on kicking. Battery life is great, though the two batteries will make it rather too heavy depending on what size batteries you're using. The easy swap between trimming and edging with the attached wheel makes it very convenient. Plus even if you do manage to break the spool cap off, they sell replacements ;) .

Assembly was very easy. Surprisingly well powered for a battery operated trimmer. For regular edging and trimming I think this tool hits the mark. In parts of my yard that I have not stayed on top of, it didn’t have the power of my corded Stihl trimmer and I did end up pulling that out to use the more challenging areas. However, I think for most if my quarter acre yard this will be my go-to trimmer edger. The wheels make a huge difference if you have back or shoulder pain.

Looked good on paper, real world usage not so good. There is a 2-3 second delay after pressing start. Same thing when feeding the line. My previous Worx trimmer ran instantly as soon as I pressed start and was half the price. Very disappointed in this model. I cannot return due to it being purchased over the winter and just being able to use it now since its summer. I DONT recommend this model. Not sure how it got so many 5 star reviews. NOTE: Worx is my choice of lawn equipment, but this may change that in the next purchases.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used this a few times now and am somewhat disappointed. It doesn't have very much power. Moderately thick grass slows the head down considerably. Constantly have to back off to let the head return to speed before going in again. This leads to a short battery life. 15-20 minutes of run time is as much as I have gotten. The handle placement makes it a bit awkward and unbalanced due to the fact that the shaft coupling prevents you from moving the handle down very far. I do like the push button string feed feature which is very convenient.

I bought this trimmer last year. I just gave away my old high end gas trimmer and my edger... its all in this battery operated, light weight tool. I happily recommend it to everyone who asks who does my lawn. The replacement line lasts a long time and is easy to order. It easily adjusts to whatever little crevice I have to trim. I have a good size 1/2 acre yard and the battery life is fine. I’ve never run out of juice. I could not be happier with my weed wackier/ edger!

So, I grudgingly bought this Power Share 13" Cordless String Trimmer out of necessity. Oh My Gosh. This item was so easy to put together, and was actually FUN to use! The adjustments that you can make with this item allows people of all heights to use. The Automatic String Advance button also made this convenient to just keep on going! I can see now, why I am getting attached to these Worx products!!

Had an 18volt for 8-9yrs and pleased with product. Finally batteries were failing so, 6yrs ago, I purchased a 32volt. Great product!!! This spring neither battery would hold a charge and when I went to purchase new batteries (discontinued). So I purchased WG184.9 40volt power share. Thought I had a faulty product because it had not much more than 1/2 the power of my 32volt. I drained the batteries a few times thinking it might help. This made no improvement. Contacted WORX and the said batteries were good but unit may be bad. They sent me a new unit less the batteries. Minimal, if any, improvement. I have a deep corner lot with extensive sidewalks and tree lawn Add in all my beds and there is 1/4-1/3 mile of edging. The wheels are a major feature for my situation. At this point the 40volt is a step backwards. Any suggestions to improve position will be appreciated.
