Not ideal for buyer’s request. Need Black ink only

Epson is too restrictive. If your colors cyan, indigo and/ or magenta cartridges are low the printer won’t print! Not even black text only. It’s constantly updating firmware and takes forever to collaborate ink, then prints out 2-3 or more test pages wasting what seems like 5% -10% of ink . Also frequent paper jams Copy won’t print if any/ either of the ink cartridges are Silent mode still loud and shaky. Price was good, but I regret purchase try

horrible ink cartridges; weak printing images; colors not bright; black not strong. thank goodness this printer is used for "retirement activities purposes!"
