The Vidalia Sweet onions are among our favorite onions. If you like onions you can pretty much eat these raw, though we prefer slicing them thin for sandwiches, or chopped for a great tuna salad. Note that these onions tend to the large side, so make sure you have an onion saver. You don’t want to waste these, so you’ll need it.

These really do taste delicious cooked or raw. They’re not as pungent as the Spanish or yellow. Doesn’t give my husband as much heart burn as the others. In fact he hasn’t had any since I brought these sweet onions. Especially when I made him his cowboy steak smothered with these onions & mushrooms. Man was he in his glory.

I am quite disappointed in these onions. They are obviously not very fresh, because literally every time I purchase them, I have to throw aw 2-3 of them. I just had to throw away one a couple of days ago that had mold growing all over on it and it smelled nasty.

Not sweet but good onions. If you are looking for sweet onions stick to Vidalia onions.
