Angus Hamburger Patties

I wish I could give this product a -5 because 1 star is too many. These patties have absolutely ZERO taste. I thought I had hit on a bad bag so I purchased another. No amount of seasoning can give them any flavor at all. They grill easy & retain shape but that's it. If I still had my receipt I would return ASAP. Extremely disappointed.

Amazing burgers, we're on our third package!

I skeptically bought these at the beginning of the quarantine because they were out of fresh hamburger, but I was pleasantly surprised with these juicy delicious burgers. We even use the air fryer, they turn out perfectly every single time, not dry at all and no shrinkage. These will change your mind about frozen patties!

Count Your Patties!!

These are a good replacement for the seemingly-discontinued most-excellent Sirloin Burger Patties. These are a higher fat content than the sirloins, so they make quite a bit more grease while cooking. Taste is quite good tho! One minor warning; COUNT YOUR PATTIES!! I have grabbed quite a few bags from the freezer that were short one patty (17 instead of the promised 18)!!

Great burgers

I cook these from frozen on a Blackstone griddle on high for 6 minutes a side and they come out with that perfect 'crust' that only a griddle can give. I do add salt and pepper as they cook but that's personal preference. The only negative is that I can't get all 18 on the 28" griddle at once; it'll only hold 15.

Not Bad But Not For Me (Salt & "Flavorings")

Call them "Angus" burgers and make them 1/3 lb. People will buy them and think they are getting something premium. In my opinion, they're not. The taste is OK, and they don't shrink too much, but there are issues. Did you ever wonder why Sam's doesn't include nutrition info and ingredients online? Maybe it's the fine print. They have a 80/20 meat to fat ratio (151g patty/30g fat = 19.87% fat) which is normal for a burger, but 420g of "encapsulated salt" (look it up) and beef "flavorings". If Angus was so great why do they need to add "flavorings"? Most people are probably unaware that these are pre-seasoned before they grill them. If I want to season the outside of my burger I'll do that, but I don't want salt built-in. Burgers aren't health food, but I'm going back to 100% beef patties.

Made all five of us sick!

We made these on a gas grill and also later in a frying pan. They were frozen and never thawed first. We know this was the culprit because all we had was these Burgers on buns. It was the only thing that all of us take the same. They weren't seasoned the same but they gave all of us diarrhea and an upset stomach the next day for about 8 hours from the four-year-old to the 64 year old! Had to be a fluke judging from all the reviews. Returning the ones that are left and possibly buying a new one and see if that's any better. We enjoyed the flavor okay, plan on buying again but we'll see.

These 1/3 Lb burger patties cook up nicely with little shrinkage and fat rendering. They taste good and I like the convenience of them being frozen so I can make a burger whenever I want to. A package of 18 lasts me about 3 months and after awhile the remaining unused patties become difficult to separate. It would be helpful if there were papers between the patties to make it easier to separate them.

Okay at best, will not buy again

Thought these were a great deal, but they're mediocre at best. If you're on a tight budget these work out to be about a $1 a piece. Luckily my boyfriend likes them more than I, but after eating 2 (at separate times), I will not eat any more. The meat just doesn't taste very good even after heavily seasoning. I guess it's partly the texture as well- even after preparing these on the stove they still are pretty squishy on the inside though the outside is almost burnt. Prefer ground burger over these. 3/5 stars for being easy and good price if you can swallow it.
