It was quick to assemble and attached my antique maple headboard wonderfully. We are able to fit totes underneath for storage. An added bonus is that my teen can hide her laundry basket behind the skirt that comes with the frame. It makes the room look much neater.

I purchased a memory foam mattress but have not been able to appreciate it because of not having proper framing for my bed. I looked on line and saw this bed frame and ordered it. It was easy to put together and for the first time in a year, I can appreciate my memory foam mattress because of the excellent support from this frame. Ordering my daughter one for her bed today.

I have high hopes for this frame. We have only had it for a month so I'm reserving judgement on whether it will squeak or not. My perspective on that was the sale I bought this on essentially made it free with matress purchase (came included) so I figured it's worth a shot. We are a large family tight on space so a frame that allows for great storage capability is high on my list! There are braces which do limit some space but I'm able to store large suitcases and bank boxes underneath. Love that I didn't need a foundation- I would much rather use the space for storage. It even comes with a bed skirt to hide it's utility.

It was easy to assemble and works perfect for a spare bedroom. Gives a lot more room for storage underneath than the traditioanl bed setup it replaced.

We just bought this after finding our old rail system didn't work well with new mattress. Was easy to assemble and worked fine with brackets for headboard and footboard

Our first two SmartBases have served us well over the last four years. I just purchased this third SmartBase for a queen-size mattress. Easy setup, no creaks or squeaks, and lots of new-found storage under the bed: we are very happy with our purchase (and all the mattresses have remained comfortable and sag-free).

Was a little nervous about this at first as I am a bigger person (>400#’s) and worried it might not be sturdy enough, but it has exceeded my expectations! Feels very solid, no shifting or squeaking. My only complaint is that it doesn’t include adapter plates for attaching a smaller (or larger) head and footboard. But I am sure I’ll be able to figure that out on my own. Considering the price I paid for this and the mattress together, I am very very happy! I had help to put it together, but only because my agility is not what it once was. Pretty straightforward assembly, and Allen wrench is included along with more than enough bolts/screws and washers. Directions could be better but if you take your time and follow the pictures it’s not too bad. I’m also happy that it sits low enough to allow me to sit with both feet on the floor. But is not so low as to make getting out of bed a struggle... “Just right!” as Goldilocks would say.

If you need specific directions on putting this frame together then its not for you. There were just pictures and arrows with no parts list. I have experience in putting item bought together so I did not have any issues. as far as the frame so far so good.

The bed frame is very good. Solid enough and easy to assemble. The two issues I have are, one; the frame is a little too long for the mattress. Two; there is nothing on the bed frame to hold or keep the mattress from sliding off. When you go to make the bed, it tries to slip off the frame. Very hard to make the bed when it is always sliding! The bed frame needs a few metal plates sticking up on the sides and ends to keep the mattress from sliding off.

The steel bed frame came bent the 1st time, came bent as an exchage product the 2nd time, the 3rd time we have gave up on and cxled the order.
