The Next Generation Bed Frame—The Night Therapy SmartBase® Mattress Foundation by Zinus comes with four headboard/footboard brackets to allow headboard and footboard attachment to your frame and a white bed skirt. The SmartBase® eliminates the need for a box spring as your memory foam, spring or latex mattress should be placed directly on the SmartBase®. Uniquely designed for optimum support and durability the strong steel mattress support has multiple points of contact with the floor for stability and prevents mattress sagging, increasing mattress life.

The SmartBase® bed frame is 14 inches high with 12.5 inches of clearance under the frame for valuable under-bed storage space. With plastic caps to protect your floors and an innovative folding design to allow for easy storage, the SmartBase® is well designed for ease of use. Worry-free 5-year limited warranty. Urethane foam will burn if exposed to an open flame or other sufficient heat source. Do not expose urethane foam to open flames or any other direct or indirect high temperature ignition sources such as burning operations, burning cigarettes, space heaters or naked lights. Once ignited, urethane foam will burn rapidly; releasing great heat and consuming oxygen at a high rate. In an enclosed space the resulting deficiency of oxygen will present a danger of suffocation to the occupants. Hazardous gases released by the burning foam can be incapacitating or fatal to human beings if inhaled in sufficient quantities. Once ignited, urethane foam is difficult to extinguish. Foam fires that appear to be extinguished may smolder and reignite. Always have fire officials determine whether a fire has been fully extinguished.

Great storage space underneath

I have high hopes for this frame. We have only had it for a month so I'm reserving judgement on whether it will squeak or not. My perspective on that was the sale I bought this on essentially made it free with matress purchase (came included) so I figured it's worth a shot. We are a large family tight on space so a frame that allows for great storage capability is high on my list! There are braces which do limit some space but I'm able to store large suitcases and bank boxes underneath. Love that I didn't need a foundation- I would much rather use the space for storage. It even comes with a bed skirt to hide it's utility.

Best Support Ever!

I purchased a memory foam mattress but have not been able to appreciate it because of not having proper framing for my bed. I looked on line and saw this bed frame and ordered it. Great for storage

It was quick to assemble and attached my antique maple headboard wonderfully. We are able to fit totes underneath for storage. An added bonus is that my teen can hide her laundry basket behind the skirt that comes with the frame. It makes the room look much neater.
