I was worried that these would be uncomfortable and sit you straight up. I think I read every review before purchasing and still felt uneasy until we received them. Here is what I was looking for in the reviews and hopefully it will help you. 1. They are comfortable even without cushions 2. Tall men approved 3. The back has a lumbar bend that makes them so much more comfortable to sit in. 4. Have extra wood glue on hand. They give you a little bitty squirter and it doesn’t go very far. 5. They are built well and only require 8 screws total..and yes, you’ll have one extra of each screw and a peg. 6. Get teakwood oil. It is a must and you will be glad you did. Their color really pops after applying and it will save your investment. 7. Save yourself time and buy a $10 pump sprayer and use any type of sponge to spread if necessary. I used a sponge roller but it was very tedious to get a good coat between the slats. My second chair looks better with the coating applied with a pump sprayer. It will require 24 hours to dry and maybe some extra time depending on how heavy the coat you applied. 8. These chairs are totally worth the risk if you are questioning them and I bet you will enjoy them as much as we do. I hope my perspective helps and I have not been paid to give it to you. I was quite surprised with the quality of these rockers! The assembly was not that difficult. Everything was supplied except the screwdriver and a rubber hammer, and the fit was exact. The chairs are comfortable and the finish means they will not be painted by us. Fine deal!

I ordered two teak rockers and they arrived on time. Very easy to assemble. They are very well made, sturdy to sit in, comfortable and roomy. I couldn't be more pleased. I choose to stain mine as I am not crazy about the gray they turn if you leave them natural. You can see my attached pics for what they look like stained and non stained. I think they are beautiful.

Assembly required. One part was damaged during shipping. Manufacturer addressed it quickly and shipped a replacement part. We needed some extra wooden bungs due to an assembly mistake (it was my fault). The manufacturer addressed that issue too. Assembly was easy with just a screwdriver and rubber mallet. Comfy to sit in and looks good too!

We have wanted a pair of these teak rockers for years, but it seemed the time was just never right. After seeing them online for the same price now, we knew they'd make our retirement even more enjoyable. They are fairly easy to assemble, but for two people. Comfort? Extremely comfortable. Not too big, not too small. There is some care required for raw teak if you wish to prolong the natural characteristics including color. Left in the elements will turn the wood gray. It seems to be a matter of personal preference as to how one wishes to keep the chairs looking. The wood is smooth, and the back is curved for lumbar support. We love 'em.

This is an excellent piece. So good we ordered a second one. A real teak rocker. I would recommend that when you assemble it, use real wood glue, not the cheap white glue they send with it. We also bought teak oil to treat it with so it keeps the color.

lovely teak rocker chairs great price. Bought my last ones from Sams club in Pennsylvania some 30 years back sat them outside and thru 7 moves,now a lovely weathered grey , gave them to my sister when I moved back from California to Delaware, Hope these are the same great pieces. Came packaged lovingly in cardboard ,not much foam, all recycled.

These are great chairs and very durable. We have had two for five years and they are still in great shape. Bought another two. We painted them as they will grey as they weather and it is hard to maintain that great teak look, but they paint nicely and are way more durable than lighter wood used in many other similar chairs. Save yourself a little work when assembling by checking the drill holes in the rockers and make sure they line up with the holes in the chair legs. I found it really made assembly much easier to slightly hit these with a drill of the same size the manufacturer used to make sure the holes were long enough and open.

These are really great rockers!! I have been looking for rockers for my front porch for 2 years.. they are either cheap and won’t last or the good ones cost a fortune. Shipping was fast, like 48 hours fast. Boxes were in decent shape and all the pieces were in tact. They were very simple to put together. After I did the first one, I had the next 3 assembled in less then 30 minutes. They are sturdy and well made. Very comfortable without cushions, and the back support is great. My husband is 6’3 and they are great for him as well. I would highly recommend these chairs!

The issue is always ease of assembly--I got the first together pretty easily--the second more of a challenge. The pictured directions didn't show doing one side totally first, then the other--so my attempt to span both was frustrating. Took it all apart and retried and it worked fine. Great rock and soothing to look out on the Gulf.
