We have been buying Sams cakes and cupcakes for 25 years. We love their frosting and the cake is always good. However, when ordering online, you may not get what you think you’re getting when it comes to color. My daughter was very disappointed when we picked up the cupcakes and the were a coral and lime green instead of the pale pink and green we had ordered for my granddaughter’s first birthday. They would not fix them and we were stuck with the wrong color for our carefully planned out special event.

I don’t know why Sam Club made it so difficult to order cakes or cupcakes now. Now you only have the option of 2 colors of icing for the 30 cupcakes. Please go back to the way things were. I don’t foresee myself ordering any more cakes or cupcakes because my options are very limited now.

I really didn't care for their online ordering because you can't make any special requests or changes to your order like you were able to in the past. From the choices I was given, which are limited, the cupcakes were made exactly as ordered. Be aware that if you order anything with the red buttercream, they add so much coloring to the red that it seeps into the cupcake itself. I probably won't order that color again.

Cupcakes are good and always enjoyed by everyone.There is a generous amount of frosting so be careful if you pick a "darker" shade especially if they are for kids. Custom orders are easy to do online, just give yourself a few days lead time (mine was about 4 days).

When purchasing the custom cupcakes, you are given options regarding the flavor of the bread and the color of the dressing. You are given a set price which will not fluctuate when you select different colors and flavors for the cupcakes. Keep in mind, these cupcakes do not have filling within them. Sam’s club has others with this option which changes the price dramatically. If you are looking for something simple with icing on top, this is for you. The icing is very sweet and the bread very moist. Very pleased with the outcome. The decorations we used were purchased separately online.

Very disappointed this time. When I got there to pickup cupcakes they were done in purple icing when I ordered 2 different blue icings it took them 10 minutes just to look up the order to find out they was in the wrong. Then I had to wait another 30-40 minutes until someone put the right colors on. You would have thought they might have given a discount but didn’t offer anything

If you need store bought cupcakes, these are the best around! The cake is moist and delicious and you can choose between a buttercream or whipped icing. Ordering is simple through the website and you can choose between chocolate, vanilla, or a variety of both in your order. You can also choose your icing color(s). These are my go-to cupcakes (and cakes) for life events when I am not baking myself!

Your cupcakes are the best. Taste so wonderful. The issue I had was that I went into the store and was not allowed to order. I was told I had to order online. It was a difficult process and I do not like to online shop. The pickup time was not working with my party so I had to pickup the night before. Arrived and no worker in the area. After I found someone she could not find my order for a while. That made me have anxiety. I had a Bridal Shower the next day. Finally found them so it worked out. A lot of people asked where they were made and everyone thought they were fantastic.

Well, talk about a cupcake catastrophe! I mean, who knew that those cute little treats could cause such chaos? It sounds like a comedy of errors with the dark green icing almost melting and the light green ones staying strong. And then the grand finale of the bottom tray giving out just as I was about to showcase your the delectable creations to the party guests - what a hilarious disaster! But hey, now I've learned a valuable lesson about the importance of sturdy trays. Who knew that those cupcakes were playing a sneaky game of hide-and-seek on separate trays? Definitely good to know for next time! You can imagine the look of shock and disappointment on this mom's face as her daughters first birthday cupcakes spattered across the floor. Well, at least now We have got a funny party story to tell, right? And who knows, maybe the mishap made the party even more memorable! As it wasn't funny at the time but now I can laugh about it.
