We were told by another member that this was the best bacon in town and she was so right! I can't imagine buying any other brand now!

As usual, Wright bacon is great! Slices don't shrink much and not a lot of grease. Tastes great too!

This is the best bacon. It's a little thicker than some, but perfect for BLT. It's the only bacon I buy. Applewood only

I have always purchased the highest quality bacon, and Wright brand Applewood Smoked thick sliced bacon is up there with the best of them.

I've never had bad bacon until I tried this bacon. Its fatty. It disintegrates in your mouth. When you flip it, it tears apart. I actually had to check the package to make sure it was real meat.

Since I've been buying Wright smoked bacon, it's my only choice. This bacon is the very best bacon I've ever had. It bakes up so very well. The taste is awesome. It's a bit pricey but it's the best ever

Not sure if we just didn't luck out or if the quality has gone downhill...this last pack was really disappointing...look at the fat/bacon ratio! Not sure if I'll try again especially since the price has REALLY gone up on this!!

This hasn't been available for quite a while. When they finally had this Bacon back in stock (hickory, which never disappeared from our local clubs, is ok; Applewood Smoked has a very subtle sweetness that pulls out the nuance of well cooked bacon and is, imo, superior to Hickory Smoked), and the price was right, I bought like 8 - 15 packages and stuffed them in my freezer in case they stop offering them again. Now I'm going through the 4 lb packages and they are Super Duper Delicious, even if I end up with pickle jars full of grease! Pretty good price considering it's 4 lbs %26 not 3lbs like the Hormel Black Label (it's ok, not nearly as good, and I still have one package left... fits well in the freezer tho since it's stackable).
