Excellent Bacon. By far my favorite brand and Sam’s Club has it for a great price. My only complaint is that I forgot to check the expiration date when I was in the store and got home to find out that I now had 4 POUNDS of bacon that expired the next day!

We like all the Wright bacon varieties. However, for sometime the cherry and applewood have not been available. Glad to see the applewood back in the case!

Best bacon around. Prefer the applewood smoke as it gives the meat a wonderful mellow flavor. The price has gone up, 'to much.' So purchases are less frequent.

Wright bacon is delicious, thick slices take about 3 1/2-4 minutes in the microwave (3 slices). Crisp but not burnt, cooks consistently if you pour off the excess fat after about 3 minutes.

We tried the Applewood smoked for the first time about a month ago. We liked it so much I decided to grab the 2-2lb package at my last in store visit. So glad I did we've really enjoyed the change to the Applewood smoked bacon. Made a great BLT!

I was excited to see this as it's my favorite bacon. It's a nice thick slice and has a really nice sweet mild smoke flavor. It's such a great deal here compared to my local market. It crisps up great. But, unfortunately, one of the packs was extremely fatty quarter way through the slab. The portion was 3/4 fat and had hardly any meat. Make sure you look at both sides of the slabs to ensure it's minimal fat.

I bought bacon that had expired more than two weeks earlier. When I went back the next day to exchange it, I found at least four more cases just as expired sitting in the refrigerator case. I brought this to a manager’s attention, but he was rude and dismissive instead of addressing the concern. I have been purchasing this bacon from Sam’s Club for many years. While this experience was disappointing, my past satisfaction with the product led me to give no less than 3 stars.

I have been buying this bacon for years and I never noticed the expiration date until now, when I separated the two packages revealing the expiration date it was 2 days from being out of date. You can’t even see the date without separating the two packages.

I bought 2 of these 2 packaged products. One was fine, the other, not so much. I picked them up at the same time, from inside the cooler. Not realizing that the package on bottom was the Members Mark brand, obviously someone had placed this package into the cooler of the Smithville brand. THIS is where the problem is. The bottom package was not shrink wrapped and the bacon was already discolored. I found this out after I got home,,,,40 miles away from the store. I also use scan and go for easy check out. Unfortunately I scanned the Smithville brand twice, instead of scanning both (thinking I had the same brand), I overcharged myself for the store brand. I don’t go to Sam’s but about once a month, I’m hoping they will fix this.

I bought and it was already expired. Tried to call the store 3 times. Hung up on twice and the other rang for 30 minutes.
