A good brand of bacon

I've never had bad bacon until I tried this bacon. Its fatty. It disintegrates in your mouth. When you flip it, it tears apart. I actually had to check the package to make sure it was real meat.

Since I've been buying Wright smoked bacon, it's my only choice. This bacon is the very best bacon I've ever had. It bakes up so very well. The taste is awesome. It's a bit pricey but it's the best ever

We went to a destination wedding in the Ozarks approximately 10 years ago. My introduction to Applewood Smoked Bacon was during the Bride and Groom's Reception. I could not believe how very delicious it was and I only wanted Applewood Smoked Bacon from then on. When I spied Wright Brand Applewood Smoked Bacon in the cooler at Sam's, we purchased several packages on the spot. It is just as delicious as the bacon we had in the Ozarks and our family loves it! Sure hope Sam's continues to carry it!

I purchased two packages on Dec 18 and they are terrible. Bought them through pickup and they are almost all fat. They nearly burn up in the pan because they are so fat. Worst bacon ever. I won’t be buying it again. If this is read, I would like a refund. My husband has literally thrown it out the last two times I fixed this bacon. I always break the large pkgs up into smaller portions to freeze. Worst bacon I have ever bought at Sam’s.

I have bought this 2 times now and both times it has had a sour flavor. It was not expired, but was close. It looked great, smelled great. I really wanted to like it, but it seems it has been bad both times. The color is still red or pinkish, but it is very slimy on the outside. I just hoped it was the flavoring that was slimy and this was normal, but both times it has had a strong sour flavor. I don't know if the sour flavor is normal(maybe from the applewood?) and the sliminess on the outside is normal(maybe from the flavoring?). I am not comfortable buying it again.

How can you say anything bad about bacon, but on this one I can. It is cut way to thick, even though its supposed to be thick sliced, 1/4 in slices a too thick to even cook. The only thing I can do with this bacon is to grind it up and use it in my burger meat

When I first started buying this bacon over a year ago, you could really smell the applewood when it was cooking and taste it in the bacon. The last time I bought it, there was no difference in the applewood versus the hickory, in fact it didn't taste like hickory either. I'm rather upset due to the much higher cost. I don't understand why it costs more either, there are more apple trees in our country than hickory trees!

This bacon is thicker and delicious my families favorite bacon

I love the taste of this bacon. It cooks well and tastes great.
