For so many years, this used to be the best pre-packaged bacon on the market. I don't understand why you are cheapening your product. Consumers can tell the difference. The bacon has way too much fat and does not taste the same. I may be one customer, but we do add up when we stop buying your product. Please go back to what made you famous!

I’ve bought this bacon for years exclusively and loved it. However, I just purchased again this month and it was awful. As you can see from the pics it was mainly fat. Out of the 4lbs of bacon I doubt I got 2.5lbs that was usable. One pic shows the whole slice and the other is what was cut away from 3/4 of a pack of bacon. And yes I looked at the sides of the bacon when purchasing and believed I was getting a nice lean pack. I’ll give it one more try and if quality control is still lacking will be going to local butcher.

I would never buy this again. The bacon appeared to be pumped up with water-salt combo. I was excited to see it was applewood smoked. It tasted nothing like real applewood smoke. I was very disappointed in the product. It felt more like manufactured meat than the real thing. I will stick to buying better quality bacon at my local butchers. It was over-priced for what low quality it was, too.

I have been purchasing this brand of bacon for years! You can't go wrong with the flavor or any variety, but I prefer Applewood. One has to be careful though. Choose your bacon carefully. Make sure the cut has an equal amount of fat and meat from end to end so it cooks evenly when in a pan. If you see that comma looking piece on one end and a fatter piece on the other, keep looking.

How can you say anything bad about bacon, but on this one I can. It is cut way to thick, even though its supposed to be thick sliced, 1/4 in slices a too thick to even cook. The only thing I can do with this bacon is to grind it up and use it in my burger meat
