I absolutely LOVE these. I had two that I purchased originally for myself something like 7 or so years ago, AFAIK when the company had just started. Recently my 3 year old and 1 year old have been going to daycare, and in an effort to make their lunch prep as easy as possible I was looking for the perfect lunch boxes for them. I tried a few other brands, but ended up coming back to the classic Bentgo boxes. So I ordered 2 more, along with some fantastic accessories. I love that these are durable and easy to clean, and they're going to be able to grow with my kiddos's appetites. And they're reasonably priced compared to a lot of other kid lunch boxes. The only thing I would like would be a shorter strap or more convenient solution to using these bentgos with only the lower half. Currently the teachers will send the bentgo boxes back collapsed (but still with some food stuffs), but the strap isn't tight enough when it's like that to keep it closed so some stuff with still leak out into their lunch bags. Luckily we have bentgo lunch bags and those are super easy to clean!

Problem solver: dislike over salted, pricey "commercial" lunches and seeing horrible gnarly, overfilled trash cans. Prefer to make own food; control especially sodium , cleanliness, and portion sizes. On Sunday, we make huge batches of food. These products allow one to eat well, reduce trash (especially the plastic type) control portions, and save money. Using these products involves a learning curve to remember to clean, dry for next use and take home. There is also the thoughtful requirement to plan where the "dirty" vessels will go. But, in the end, as a species, we SHOULD use these products as we can better plan. Essential learning opportunity for children.

I searched for a lunch bag for a long time. This one was exactly the right size for my needs and I was excited when it arrived. However, it had a horrible moldy stench to it which continued after a thorough cleaning & Clorox wipe down. It’s been a week and it still literally stinks. I have to store it outside the house. I do t want to throw it away because it’s brand new but it is basically unusable. The search will continue.

This bag is much better than the larger prep bag. It is on the smaller side but as it opens like a traditional lunch box you have easy access to the main compartment. The front pouch is very small, I thought it would be good for silverware but mine don’t fit so I use it to stash extra sugar packets for coffees.

I got these for myself and my partner to take lunch to work. They worked so well that I got one for my niece to take to school. They are a good size and fit quite a bit of food. I was worried about them staying together but I have never had an issue (even with a kindergartner using them).

This lunch bag holds the bentgo containers that we have purchased with no issue - both the glass meal-prep set and the large glass salad kit. The front pocket is a little small for utensils, but they fit in the main compartment of the bag just fine. The mesh inner pocket at the top is nice for snack bars. Keeps meals pretty cool for around 4-5 hours - when sitting on my desk at work, by the time lunch rolls around salads are still chill, and meal prep that I'd want to heat up I do not feel like I need to set out before tossing in the microwave.

I love my Bentgo Deluxe Lunch Bag! I liked having several colors to choose from and the Bentgo website is user friendly. The top portion of the bag has a place for an ice pack to keep your food cold. The outer zippered pouch can be used for napkins, salt, pepper etc. Cleaning the Bentgo Deluxe Lunch Bag is quick and easy thanks to the easy clean fabric. The handle is padded so it’s easy to carry, and comes with a strap for optional use. I’m really enjoying my lunch bag.

I bought 1 of these initially, then went back and bought another 2. The bottom container is the right size for a sliced orange, or a sandwich, or a meal of your choosing. It's nice and deep, and large. The smaller container above it is nice for a sandwich or fruit and trail mix or apple sauce and salad. The utensils fitting between the two containers is very convenient. I'll be going on a day trip, and I'm taking 3 of these with me with ice packs in an igloo container. They should be great!

My kids really like these bento boxes. They are definitely "kid-sized," although I suppose it would help an adult with portion control! I wish they were dishwasher-safe and there was a better seal on the containers. My son's pasta salad intermingled with his animal crackers on the top and that got pretty gross. Overall, they are super cute and my kids are excited about them, but I would probably go for a different design or a bigger one for myself.

So many colors to choose from. All 5 of us in our family have our own color to avoid confusion at home. We also label straps and the bottom of the bowls and lunch boxes with masking tape to avoid mixups at school or work. The silverware having its own slots reminds the kiddos to remember to put them back after they eat oh yeah and my forgetful husband. This has helped out a lot, it gave me a break from having to continuously purchase throw away utensils and my husband bringing our silverware to work and me having to constantly search online to replenish our fork inventory that matches the rest of our silverware.
