This product killed all my plants. I'm going to live with it by working other things into the soil after I find out from a quality professional what went wrong. It says on the package that it protects from over-watering, but that seems to be exactly what killed my plants. We got a few rainstorms and my plants are in tires. It specifically says on the package that it's indoor or outdoor soil. Very disappointed.

I was really disappointed. The dirt inside the bag was dry and rock-hard—not what I expected from something labeled “moisture control.” It took a lot of effort to break it up and rehydrate it before I could even use it. Definitely not fresh or ready to go. I expected better quality.

For indoor plants, I find the trickiest part is watering without overwatering. If you haven't tried bottom watering, I highly recommend it. It solved my fungus gnat problem without chemicals. This soil has sponge qualities that also work very nicely, particularly if you are like me and only get to watering one day a week. This soil can easily hold water that long and still drains well enough to avoid root rot.

Miracle Grow Mousture Control Garden Soil works miracles! I planted gladioli bulbs on June 8th and on June 16th I saw the bulbs bud into a blade! The soul is so rich and moist. There is plenty of food for and plants you decide to grow. The quality is excellent for the price! The only thing that I dislike about it is I wish it came also in a 2 cu ft bag. I love the product and will continue to purchase it in the future. I ordered it online and it was ready for pickup very quickly!

I absolutely love this stuff. I’m using it in my raised bed and my pots and it’s great! My seedlings are popping out nice and quickly, even with the south Florida sun trying to kill everything. It’s a great bargain at Sam’s right now as well at $12 a bag!

I bought several bags of this potting mix. My plants love it. I used it for outdoor plants including tomatoes. This mix keeps enough moisture, which is important to steady growth. I can see darker green leaves since I repotted my tomatoes into the mix. I wish Sam's Club had an organic potting mix also. The price was better than at the competitors.

So, I used to buy "soil" for planting my trees and plants. Little did I know that using "potting mix" would produce such better results! I don't buy soil for planting anymore! Everything I have used "potting mix" is flourishing and beautiful! Another Miracle Gro "miracle". :)

Very disappointed,and this is a first. I have always grown beautiful flowers and plants with miracle grow. For whatever reason, this bag was lower quality,and higher price. It contained ALLOT of small wood peices and chips. even found a few rocks! Even after discarding them, my flowers began to wilt and turn brown. Im not sure what happened with this batch. Not sure if I will trust it again. perhaps it is a new cost control thing during production, I dont know.

I have to do my gardening on my porch. I have trellis, tomato cages. If I keep the half barrels a foot or more apart, I tie heavy string between the trellis and I can also grow sideways I use my tomato cages upside down. I sink them in a little, I use large twine baskets filled with potting soil attached to the top of the cages and grow strawberries and different varieties of lettuce. In every empty space, I grow my herbs. One the trellis, on one edge I grow English cucumber, on the other edge, I grow zucchini. Under those I plant shallots and garlic. I try to secure everything, one to the other, so if you get strong winds, they’re supported. If you like potatoes, these are excellent, any root top works great in these. I also bought a brown plastic trash can, if you tip it up it rolls. I keep all of my potting soils, seed packets in a plastic bag, my rolling stool, I’m an amputee, all my gardening tools neatly inside the trash can, that sits on a sturdy mat. I do hydroponics on a small section of kitchen counter, when they get good roots, I pluck the little cube out and plant outside. You can get all that stuff from Walmart, I did. If it’s not in the store, they can order it for you. I can’t draw, but I can sure grow a lot of stuff. Get the rolling plastic trays, for under the barrels. It’s so easy, you’ll love it.

Since I am homebound due to health reasons and covid it is so easy to order online. I love my houseplants and some need to be repotted so I purchased Miracle-Gro moisture control potting mix that I use for best results with my plants. They are enjoying their new home.
