I bought this generate for power outages during hurricanes. I just got it, did not use it yet - just tested, so more updates will come. Assembly was easy, i put this generator on little kids wagon and was able to attach wheels, and then little support legs. Hooked to propane tank and it worked.. tested on one room only, but intended to use it for powering AC.. I am female and not very familiar with generators, but i followed instruction how to use and it was fairly easy.

It has enough output to run the whole house and not just a few appliances. The dual fuel feature is very nice because it allows for continuous operation using two propane tanks with automatic switch over regulator. No more shutting off, cool off, refuel, resume! It can keep running with a full propane tank while the empty one is replaced.

I bought the generator about a month ago after a major storm which caused a week long power outage. Haven't had to use it for an emergency yet, but the generator is well built and has great features. Glad I made this purchase. I have great peace of mind now feeling much more prepared for future emergencies.

The feature set on this generator for this price point is amazing. It will be able to power my entire house when I have and outage. The ability to swap fuel sources on the fly without shutting down is great. My parents have a dual fuel Champion generator and they need to shut it down in order to swap fuel sources. The remote start is a great feature too. I have my generator hookup out by my shed about 75 feet from my back door. All I need to do is preposition this generator before a storm and when the power goes out I can start it from my back door without even going outside.

I bought this as an upgrade to our old generator, we live in Florida and these are almost a must have. The generator came well packaged and looks solid. The push button start is a real treat to have also remote start. We are having a 50 amp service installed for ease of use.

Bought this for a new home we are building and couldn't be happier. This beast will power everything we need in case of emergency. The duel fuel capability eases my mind for those times I don't have gas (or run out). The push button start, remote start capabilities and all of the available receptacles are spot on. This will serve me for many years to come. Defiantly would recommend this generator. No regrets.

Purchased in June in anticipation of hurricane season. So far have only 45 minutes of "real" runtime due to a thunderstorm. The AC output is not as "clean" as I would like to be safe for electronics, but that's my fault for not paying attention to specs prior to purchase. I couldn't afford an inverter unit anyhow... . Pros: Keeps up with demand on household circuits selected through the transfer switch, including one A/C system if I'm careful with the order of switching in the pump and air handler. Seems quite fuel-efficient on gasoline; haven't run it for long enough on propane to evaluate. Cons (minor): 1. Wish it charged the starting battery as I'm likely to forget to plug in the wall-wart... might get a batter maintainer to connect directly. 2. Gas gauge on my unit is "sticky" and inaccurate as though the float is bent -- will eventually pull it and check that. 3. Sometimes takes two "start" cycles to fire up; hopefully this will improve as it breaks in.

I purchased this generator to power our travel trailer here at home in the event of a power outage so we could use both A/C's if needed, after doing some calculations I could also power our two refrigerators in the house at the same time. This makes for great peace of mind knowing we can live comfortably in the event of a power outage. When it was delivered the driver used a forklift to set the pallet with the generator on it in my garage for me, I'm 65 and I was afraid that it would be too heavy for me to work with to put the wheels on it. I was able to lift the wheel end and slide a piece of 4x4 under the frame with my foot and get the wheels put on with absolutely no problem at all, did the same thing on the other end to put on the support feet. Very pleased with my purchase.

My bride bought this for us as replacement for a Durimax that never really worked. Westinghouse generator was easy to set up, starts easily. Easy to switch fuel source. No concern when next hurricane visits South Texas, we are ready. We can run almost every device in house including AC. Excellent priduct

This generator manual is well formatted, easy to follow, and complete. The unpacking, contents, and assembly instructions are great. The Operation and Maintenance section describe each system in detail. The Generator operation and performance was great and as expected from a Westinghouse product. No issues were found.
