We bought this last month for our frequent power outages and it has been great. Love the remote fob that lets me go to bed and then power down the generator so I'm not stumbling around in the dark and the same on waking up. The reason why I gave it 4 stars was because the 50 amp outlet must have a plate behind it that is off a bit making it really hard to get the cord in-but it'll probably not fall out easily either,

We did alot of research for a generator that would suit our camper. We needed a 50 amp hook up and 6500 watts to run our 5th wheel. The optional built in generator was on back order, this unit has filled that gap. Seriously doubt I will even consider the factory one when it becomes available. Not overly loud, runs smooth and powers our needs for off grid camping. There are alot of choices out there, trust me, we researched them all. This is the unit what we recommend if you need camping power.

used an electrician to install 50 amp plug. have not had to run it for a lengthy period yet but set up out of the box was easy to follow. initial electric start & run were smooth. performed 2 test runs since setup & electric start was immediate, ran smooth & delivered power to the areas I chose thru the fuse box. initial reaction is very positive

I was impressed with the fit and finish of this generator. It was also easy to get set up, understand and work the control panel, and switch between gas and propane. It worked without issue out of the box. The push button start is a very convenient feature I didn't think I was going to care about. Push it for a couple seconds and the generator will attempt to start on it's own; up to 3 times if I'm correct. It also has pull start to manually crank the engine. I was disappointed to find this model doesn't have an idle down/"economy" mode. Most, if not all other brands of generators in this class have this low idle feature.

I bought this generator a year ago to be hurricane ready. Luckily we made it through this season without the need. I had a transfer switch and external plug added to the house. I am right now sitting in the house with the power off and the generator running. The air conditioner is on along with anything else I want to turn on. The generator is running the whole house. This thing is great, I'm so glad I bought it.

Just bought this generator and it was delivered fast. Two days early. Directions were easy to follow. Had it all together and running in no time. Was a lot quieter then I thought it would be with its size. Ran everything I asked it to and more. Would recommend this 12500 generator to anyone. Great machine.

I bought this generator and got a whole lot more for the money! It also included 25 feet of natural gas hose with quick connection! Also a quick connect propane gas hose! An easy guide of how to operate and how to do maintenance. I ran it for 5 hours with no problems. I highly recommend this Generator!

For a long time I thought about getting a portable back up generator for an emergency. After researching and comparing, it came down to two generator. The Wgen9500DF and a competitor with the same feature. However, the Wgen9500DF had two features ( my wife liked a lot) the other brand didn't have. The Remote start and the smarts switch box. I bought this generator after the winter storm 2020 hear in Texas. Also they expected the rolling blackouts during the summer so not wanting to be without electric power we decided on this generator to run the whole house. I have tested the generator running the 30 amp twist lock outlet on A wet dry vac and jigsaw and reciprocal saw with no problem. Have not wired to the house yet but will give a follow up review once it is completely connected.

We are moving into a new house with solar and will install a transfer switch to allow this unit to activate on loss of line power. With this and solar we will no longer be at the mercy of the power company. The assembly was easy and it started after using the choke. I tested it with multiple loads and could hear it change speed as it matched the load. Lovin' this generator...I think my son-in-law will be getting one now.

Bought original generator almost 11 months ago based on features and reviews. Frame was damaged as received, smashed into the gas tank - so never started it. Westinghouse replaced unit which was much appreciated, just received it - will supply more data after unit is utilized.
