I've been using the Westinghouse WGen9500DFc Generator and it's been fantastic. The convenience of having two fuel sources, gas and LPG, makes it incredibly versatile. Living in Florida, where power outages can be a concern, this generator has been a lifesaver. It's powered everything we need without any issues, from the fridge to the AC. Received two days ago, easy assembly right out of the box, have only used it to see how it works, how loud it was and was it as good as advertising and ratings showed. Not as loud as I expected, not overbearing. I bought it for house backup, more than enough to handle all my needs. Probably more than what I needed, but it's a beast. Glad I got it

I received this generator a week faster than shipping was saying which is always a plus. For testing purposes I hooked up propane just to fire it up and it started on the first crank. The generator itself if pretty quiet for the size. The wheels and support feet were VERY easy and quick to install. Everything seems of high quality. A+

I purchased this generator after comparing many different brands and the features they offered. The remote start is a plus and works great starting the generator at a distance when you don't have the lighting to get to it manually. I love this generator and I am very pleased with the quality of this machine..

Pros: Excellent start out of the box. Easy operation. Generator trickle charges battery while running. Manual has good instructions. Good features with battery disconnect, wall charger for battery when generator not running, carburetor drain for storage. CONS: Too loud for my preference.

Just fired it up for the first time and it wouldn't kick on using gas. Had to connect a propane tank to get it going, and fired right up. Once it was running, switched over to gas and turned off the propane and it worked like a champ. Recommend Westinghouse add this little trick to their initial starting tips. Very pleased thus far, feel it's a great deal for a solid generator.

So far I've been liking the generator. I just tried it out. Haven't been able to run it yet full-time but testing it out getting it going. It started up pretty nice on propane. I ran a 12,000 BTU AC on it and a couple fans it ran them perfectly. Well make sure you just keep it away from the house when you turn it on. It's a little bit loud because it's pretty big but it runs good. The remote started so much nicer been pulling a cord. She starts right up when you just push the button down for 2 seconds.

This generator has every feature you could look for. We loose power more often it seems so it was time to find a generator that could power much of our house while the electric company gets things fixed. The assembly only took about 30 minutes and after reading the directions and charging the battery for a few additional hours this generator was ready to be run. I love the dual fuel options as well as the electric start and key fob. As the title says it fired up on the first try. My only regret was not buying this sooner.

I bought this product in Aug. of this year. The assembly and functionality has been very easy. Had it wired to the house direct, at a small cost .It started right up on 1st try. I will sleep better knowing I am prepared to keep house functioning if we lose our power.

The Westinghouse 9500DF generator received high ratings and because it also runs on propane, we purchased it as a backup power source. It was easy to assemble and out of the box it powered up immediately. We recommend it.
